We Love GH’s Mac Scorpio!

I mean really, who doesn’t love Mac Scorpio?! Kind-hearted, good looking, funny guy, and a good Father/Uncle! Mac has been around Port Charles for so long… longer than I have been watching GH, but not much. 😉 Mac first arrived in Port Charles in 1991, (I was 9 years old). Mac is well known for his relationship with Felicia Jones played by Kristina Wagner. In more recent years, writers have played with the idea of Mac being romantically involved with PC lawyer, and Mother of 3 beautiful girls, Sam, Kristina, and Molly, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). They have been back and forth with Mac and Alexis and it has never really amounted to anything more than awkward set ups by the Davis Girls. Now, to further complicate things, Felicia is back in town and she and Mac have been talking about getting back together. After the death of Georgie, and now Robin’s “death,” Mac really needs some happiness in his life. Who do you all want to see Mac in a romantic relationship with? Should he go back to his old flame Felicia? Or should he start fresh with Alexis?

Not only do we love Mac Scorpio the character, but we love John York himself. He is such a kind man! If you are on Twitter, you will see that he reaches out to fans effortlessly. He is genuine when tweeting and responding to his fans, supports them just as much as we support him and the show. It is a great thing when an actor truly shows appreciation for the support of the fans by reciprocating respect and enthusiasm. I want to give John York a huge THANK YOU from General Hospital Blog for being an amazing actor, keeping Mac awesome, and for supporting the fans and this blog! I look forward to watching his upcoming story lines with the ladies of PC! Follow him on Twitter @JohnJYork

General Hospital News and Spoilers: Fan Favorite Kimberly McCullough Back at GH! Robin Returns!

Kimberly McCullough Returns to GH

It’s a happy day for General Hospital fans as the day we’ve all waited for is finally here! General Hospital news reports confirm that Kimberly McCullough back on General Hospital.

According to the latest GH recaps, Patrick came a face to face with Robin. Although she was just a figment of his imagination, he can’t shake what he’s seen. The most event General Hospital previews indicate that Robin comes to Patrick, and tells him to save her. Will Patrick listen to the warnings in his mind? This couldn’t possibly be real, could it?! Evidently their formidable connection is what leads Patrick to Robin.

Kimberly McCullough Returns to GH

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that this could be the beginning of Patrick’s journey as Robin continues to call out for him. Meanwhile, Patrick may feel that Robin is alive through his visions of his late wife. That’s when he realizes that she needs him.

GH comings and goings have yet to confirm McCullough’s General Hospital status. It remains unclear starts whether Kimberly McCullough is ready to come back to GH steadily, or just in teaser episodes. For now fans take what we can get when it comes to Scrubs!

Is GH Recasting the Role of TJ?

Rumors are circulating about a possible recast of the teen character TJ, played by Krys Meyer. Casting call looking for a 16 year old African American male for a major recurring role. Does this mean they want to replace the current actor as TJ? Or perhaps they are adding another teen to the Port Charles canvas. I hope it is the latter of the two personally. I really like the actor playing TJ right now. I think he and Molly (Haley Pullos) work very well together. The two have great teen chemistry.  What do you think? Do you like the current TJ (Krys Meyer)? Or would you like to see him replaced? Leave a comment below and let us know! I vote for keep him!

Kimberly McCullough, GH’s Robin Scorpio Returns!

It has been confirmed by Soap Opera Digest that Kimberly McCullough has returned to the set of General Hospital. Jason Thompson says, “It was great to work with Kimberly again.” Last week General Hospital Blog featured a video for GH’s Blockbuster Summer which included a Robin sighting. It is unknown how long Kimberly will be on as Robin this time around, but it is certain that she has returned even if it is only for a short period of time.

GH’s Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo: Gagoo Jammies

General Hospital’s one and only Brenda Barrett played by Vanessa Marci Giovinazzo, is not only beautiful and talented, but is also a kind-hearted and generous person. It’s always wonderful to see one of your favorite celebrities do things for the good of others, and that is exactly what we get to witness in Vanessa. The actress has launched her own website www.babygagoo.com. On the site you will be able to find cozy and fashionable jammies for newborns, toddlers, and youth, and also merchandise for adults. The organization is designed to benefit the women and children of Nkosi’s Haven living with HIV/Aids and Soujourn Services helping battered women and their children. Vanessa has worked very hard for this cause that is close to her heart. The launch party for gagoo jammies was back in April of 2012 in Malibu, CA. The next event is scheduled for August 4th, 2012 in Staten Island, NY. Let’s support Vanessa and her cause by visiting the site and purchasing some jammies for a child you love, and also help out a child in need! Click here to go directly to the website. The photo featured here is what I am getting for my daughter. 🙂 Way to go Vanessa! All your hard work, dedication, and love for this cause is making a difference in children’s lives.

Frank Valentini Talks GH Surprises

As true General Hospital fans, I think that we should all stay optimistic that General Hospital will have a long life ahead despite all the rumors and changes that are going on now. The time slot change, the Summer’s off rumor, GAA ratings possibly hurting the life of GH, and all the other threats and obstacles the General Hospital family has had to endure in the recent months. In an article I found at TVSourceMagazine.com, GH Executive Producer, Frank Valentini talks about the surprises headed for GH. I feel that he is very optimistic about the show, always sending out positive vibes with his interviews and displaying enthusiasm for what he does, and for GH as a whole. Click here to check out the full article and watch the video!

More Changes Ahead for GH? Will GH Be Taking Summers Off?

There have been many changes surrounding the soap world,  and just when we think the tides have calmed a bit, we get wind of another possible change. GH is now the main for ABC soap fans and every little detail matters. Today on Twitter @TVSource (TVSourceMagazine.com) asked GH fans if they would support General Hospital airing September through June and taking Summers off. Is this a trick question?! There is really no way around this. No, I would not support losing my favorite show all Summer long, but I also would take anything I could get. So if we all  say, YES, and support GH taking Summers off, then that’s most likely what will happen. If we all are against it, GH may be gone for good. I am not looking forward to all these changes and ways to make General Hospital less of a TV priority. I hope the fans can show enough support to keep General Hospital on all year long.

Is Dr. Steven Webber (Scott Reeves) Leaving GH?

There has been a rumor that Scott Reeves who plays Dr. Steven Webber, aka Steven Lars, is leaving GH. Maybe all the hype is due to the rumor or Steve and Olivia’s split. Anyways, today on Twitter a fan tweeted to @Reevesforreal and asked about the rumor and if she could have a hint. Scott Reeves did not reply but he retweeted the fans tweet. Could this be the hint? Getting the word out on Twitter that he is leaving? What do you think? We fans sure hope this rumor does not come true!
