Hi there, General Hospital fans! Thank you all for your interest in General Hospital Blog.
Your support is greatly appreciated and I am so happy that you’ve taken the time to read my General Hospital news site. Like many of you, I’ve been a dedicated GH fan for as long as I can remember. I started watching with my mom and sister in the early 1990s. Back then I was a pre-teen with an older sister who has a crush on “Jagger Cates.” | mean, who didn’t daydream about Antonio Sabato Jr. back then?
The island storyline was where it almost began for me. Every day after school I’d come home to my mom and sister watching GH in the living room. The three of us watched together as my mom cleaned the house or started cooking dinner. When I got older, some of my friends also watched GH . So, my friend and I would skip the last hour of class, every Friday in High School to rush home and watch. First, we’d stop at 7/Eleven on the way home to pick up some potato chips and dip to enjoy as we watched.

About General Hospital Blog
Over the years, my dedication to GH hasn’t wavered. Although my mom passed away almost 15 years ago, I keep up with my favorite show just as I would have if she was here. Today, my 9 year old son can’t wait to see what Cyrus Renault does next, while my 14 year old daughter knows everyone’s character and actor names. She even helps me tag my posts so that I can drive. Haha.

Undoubtedly, this show is a phenomenon. 5 days a week (give or take), for 60 consecutive years and counting ???????? isn’t something to take lightly. I’m truly grateful for the memories and bonds that are built among strangers and friends because of General Hospital.
