The strength of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has truly been put to the test as of late after her entire world has turned upside down, stating with Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) betrayal.
Sonny Corinthos initiated the series of events that have taken a toll on a strong and successful woman. When he chose to stand by Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) after keeping him from his wife and children, Carly cut her losses and realized that Sonny wasn’t the same man she knew, loved, and married 5 different times. Since then, Carly has run into one unfortunate incident after another.
General Hospital recaps surrounding Carly and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) developing friendship suggest that they were headed for either a strong bond comparable to what she had with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), or something more along the lines of romance.
However, recent General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly feels the sting of Drew’s unintentional betrayal after he approaches Nina with a business proposal. GH previews and spoilers indicate that Drew proposes to Nina that she buys the other half of the Metro Court. Although his intentions are good as he’s trying to keep his word in helping Carly get through her financial crisis, Carly won’t be happy about how he goes about the plan.
