Eden McCoy talks Joss and Cam!
Eden McCoy tells all! Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) are high school sweethearts. Their bond as friends eventually developed into a romance after testing the waters with other friends.
General Hospital spoilers indicate Josslyn and Cameron are headed for a breakup. These two started out as friends and have gone from high school sweethearts to college lovers. They tested the waters with their other friends but found themselves to have a stronger attraction to one another.
At one point Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Cam has feelings for each other, but that changed when Cam began to have feelings for Joss. Trina has had a thing for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) ever since he arrived in Port Charles under a false identity.
General Hospital news reports reveal actress Eden McCoy talks Joss and Cam in a recent interview. Eden spills the tea on the fundamentals of Josslyn’s and Cameron’s relationship. She explains how things are different now since the sex tape. McCoy dives into an explanation for why this young romance is headed south in an interview with Soaps In Depth.
Eden McCoy Spills the Tea
“A lot of stuff has happened with her and Cam that has affected the relationship,” McCoy explained. She reflects on the trust issues that developed between them. Josslyn feels Cameron can’t be trusted after keeping Spencer’s secret. General Hospital recaps recall Cameron having to choose between staying quiet because Spencer’s secret wasn’t his to tell, and feeling like he was keeping a secret of his own from Joss. Eden went on to explain the damaging effects of Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) evil plan.
“I don’t think things ever bounced back between them after the sex tape,” she continued. “You go through a trauma like that and dynamics change. They haven’t shared that same intimacy because I think Josslyn, and maybe Cam, still feels so scared and so violated and she associates being intimate with him with a scary thing now. Which is really hard to deal with when you’re 19-year-olds in a relationship and there are so many unspoken wounds.”
When it comes to the new guy in town, Josslyn’s attraction to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is undeniable. Josslyn is torn between guilt and justifying the situation. “I think she does feel guilty about it,” Eden confessed, “but I think she’s also a bit put out by Cam’s behavior. She’s constantly like, ‘Cam did this, so it’s fine that I’m doing that.’ I think it’s her natural tendency, because of her guilt, to try to justify her own behavior.”
Some GH fans will argue Josslyn didn’t fall far from Carly’s apple tree. Some say she is making excuses while getting close to Dex because it’s a Carly thing to do. Other fans believe Josslyn and Cam need to go their separate ways while it’s nobody’s fault. Do these two stand a chance, or has the damage been done?
