General Hospital News: Life After GH- Kelly Monaco Reveals Next Move, Drops A Banger Of A Bombshell

Kelly Monaco Announces Podcast
General Hospital News: Kelly Monaco Announces New Project

Kelly Monaco Announces Podcast! Lately, my favorite General Hospital actress and character has been on my mind. Kelly Monaco landed on the General Hospital set in 2003, and the rest is history. Monaco brought the role of Samantha McCall to life, and what an incredible life she led.

Individually, Kelly Monaco’s contribution to the role of Sam had an enormous impact on the overall dynamic in Port Charles. She brought street smarts and savvy survival skills, and could run cons with the best of them. On her own, Sam was a stunning thrill seeker with a big heart. Additionally, not only did Monaco’s portrayal of Sam became one of General Hospital’s most beloved characters, put her romantic pairing became legendary. Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco gave Jason and Sam the most incredible romance with their screen, chemistry, intimacy and adventure. In fact, The pairing has been referred to as one of daytime television’s most favorite Super Couples.

Sadly, on October 1, 2024, General Hospital’ breaking news spread exoterically over the daytime drama’s fan base. It was then that Kelly Monaco’s General Hospital exit was announced and confirmed. Her last appearance as Sam aired on November 1, 2024. Soon after, Monaco’s online comments about her GH exit surfaced, revealing bad blood on the GH set.

General Hospital News and Spoilers: GH Casts Adrian Anchondo As Marco- Look Out Brad!

Adrian Anchondo Joins GH
General Hospital: GH Comings and Goings Adrian Anchondo as Marco

Mystery man Marco makes an impression. Adrian Anchondo joins GH! General Hospital comings and goings keep the storylines fresh when news faces enter the arena. We gain some and we lose some, but the actors/characters introduced to the show serve their intended purpose.

According to the latest General Hospital casting news, GH casts Aidan Anchondo as Marco. Recently, Anchondo divulged details about how he landed this GH role. In a recent interview, Adrian revealed that he screen tested along side GH’s newcomer, Van Hansis. Although Hansis is new(er) to the canvas, the role he plays is not. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is a pretty big deal in Port Charles, and his family lineage can prove it. For crying out loud he is a Spencer as well as a Jerome. Lucas’s half sister Carly, his mom, the late Bobbie Spencer (the late Jackie Zeman), his late father, Julian Jerome (William deVry), and his Auntie Ava Jerome (Maura West) make up quite the family tree.

General Hospital spoilers tease that it isn’t family who Lucas spends more time with in the coming weeks. In fact, a stranger comes to Port Charles and sparks Lucas’s interest. According to General Hospital spoilers. Adrian Anchondo plays a mysterious lawyer named Marco.

Uh Oh! It looks like Brad isn’t the only one getting in his own way when it comes to Lucas. He had a glimmer of hope but it was quickly squashed after his Dawkins with Portia and Selina were admitted. Now, an intriguingly handsome lawyer waltzed into Port Charles to get in the way.

General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Blows The Lid Off Of Drew’s Secret, Risks Nina’s Friendship

Curtis Exposes Drew and Nina
General Hospital: Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) At War

Once solid bros, Curtis Ashford and Drew Cain/Quartermaine are now adversarial enemies. It all started when Drew went from selfless hero to selfish villain. Now, all of his enemies that started out friends are seeing a side of him that they’ve never seen before. What happens to Drew’s ego if Curtis exposes Drew and Nina to Willow?!

According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) feud continues despite Portia’s involuntary efforts to encourage a truce. GH recaps recall that Drew blackmailed Portia (Brook Kerr) into softening up her husband when it comes to Drew. See, Curtis has no idea that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is blackmailing Portia. But he does know that Portia changed Heather Webber’s (Ally Mills). So, Drew banks on Portia’s fear of coming completely clean to work in his favor.

General Hospital rumors tease that Drew’s plan backfires and Curtis retaliates on Drew for involving Portia in this mess. What happens next will affect more people than just Drew. Sadly, Curtis and Nina’s friendship is at risk with Curtis’s next potential move against the enemy. If Curtis retaliates, than Willow and Nina’s worlds will blow apart. The newly established mother-daughter relationship could already come to an end if Willow finds out the truth.

Cutis Exposes Drew And Nina?! Will Curtis Risk His And Nina’s Friendship?

Apparently, Curtis blows Drew and Nina’s secret out of the water. Which secret you ask? You know, the one where Drew sleeps with both mother and daughter. claims to have fallen in love with the daughter, turns in the mother, and then expects it to stay quiet. Apparently, he gets a rude awakening when Curtis exposes Drew and Nina’s secret to Willow. Where does that leave Nina?

General Hospital Spoilers: Sidwell Knew Exactly What Alexis Divulged Because He Too Is A Cassadine!

General Hospital: Alexis Davis and Jenz Sidwell at Wyndemere

A new villain has arrived in Port Charles and he’s made himself quite comfy. He has made at least one friend in Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), a shady business deal with Sasha, and a partnership with cosmetics company Deception is pending. Whether or not he dips his hands into Lucy’s prized possession, okay, get your kinds out of the gutter because we mean DECEPTION 🤣, Natalia’s ex-husband makes all the right moves to put down roots in Port Charles.

There’s something mysterious about Jenz Sidwell. No, it’s not the name. And it’s not just the elusiveness of his past and Port Charles arrival. For me, it’s the eery sense that Sidwell knows a lot more about Port Charles than anyone imagines. Particularly, the infamous Cassadines, and especially Natasha Alexandra Mikkosovna Cassadine.

According to General Hospital recaps, Sidwell presented Alexis with the object representative of Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) curse. Although Sidwell made it seem like Alexis’s forthcomings were new news to his ears, GH rumors tease that Sidwell is well aware of that dagger’s significance, the history behind it, and everything else Cassadine.

Furthermore, Jenz told Natalia (Eva LaRue) that he wasn’t after Sonny Corinthos. So, if not for Sonny, then why did Jenz Sidwell decide to take up residents in Port Charles? PC is the home of Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), and the others who were captured by him. He casually, yet mysteriously makes his way around the city as if he’s done nothing to any of those people. In fact, his defense of his actions always comes with vague and elusive explanations, never really denying or confirming, while he justifies the topics of concern to those who have questioned him.

Jenz Sidwell Is A Cassadine?!

This type of arrogance, mystery, and overall demeanor remind me of one thing. Or, many depending on how you look at it. The Cassadines. Although uniquely identifiable, when it comes down to their roots, a Cassadine is a Cassadine, is a Cassadine. Everyone knows the phrase, you can take the girl out of the toxic and criminal Russian aristocratic family of Greece’s Spoon Island, but you can’t take all that mess out of the girl. Or something like that.

Needless to say, no matter how much she separates herself, Alexis is always going to be a Cassadine. Her father Mikkos was unfaithful to the evil Helena Cassadine, so of course there was hell to pay. Although her father Mikkos conceived Natasha outside of his marriage, she still has the Cassadine blood, and name. She chose to change her identity for obvious reasons. Now Natasha is Alexis. Unfortunately, regardless of any identity change, Alexis can’t escape her family.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors suggest that the Cassadine family gains another member when Sidwell is revealed to be Alexis’s half brother. His sudden presence in Port Charles raised suspicions, and it’s safe to assume that Jenz hasn’t revealed his plans for Port Charles just yet. But when he does… good luck!

General Hospital Spoilers: Who Will Blow The Lid Off Of Brook Lynn’s Secret? No One Could Prepare For The Fallout

Who exposes Brook Lynn and Lois’s secrets
General Hospital: Who exposes Brook Lynn and Lois’s secrets?

It’s time! Who exposes Brook Lynn and Lois’s secrets? Up until now, Lulu hated Brook Lynn’s friendship with Dante just for being that- a friendship. But now that she knows that her ex husband and Bensonhurst Beauty, Brook Lynn Quartermaine were actually in love and conceived a child together.

According to General Hospital recaps, Lois, BLQ herself, and what Brookie thinks is an adoption agency, are the only ones who were privy to Brook Lynn’s adoption story back then. Although, one other person has known about Dante and Brook Lynn’s teen pregnancy. Dante‘s longtime friend Cody Bell knows Brook Lynn’s secret. Don’t forget, her secret isn’t even the whole story.

Currently, Brooke Lynne struggles with a secret she has kept for a lifetime. The fact that she and Dante have a child together out in the world somewhere will change lives forever. Carly wasn’t wrong or exaggerating when she pointed out to Lulu that the secret will impact many lives. Unfortunately, the impact won’t be positive for everyone. While some may will be overjoyed, like Christmas morning surprise, other lives are severely shaken.

But should all of the blame fall on Brook Lynn? Don’t forget, Lois even knows the child’s identity. Brooklyn was a scared teenager, unprepared, and felt too young to be a mother, so she trusted her own mother to handle the details after she made the decision to give her baby up for adoption.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that someone blows the lid off Brooklyn’s secret. In turn, that could only mean that Lois’s secret is blown out of the water as well. Who will expose Brook Lynn’s teen pregnancy, and the fact that Dante is the father?

Well it’s true that Cody Bell was the only outsider who knows about the baby, but now Lulu (Alexa Havens) came across the startling secret. Who will be responsible for exposing Brook Lynn’s secret, and inadvertently revealing Lois’s as well? Will they have Cody to think, for that or perhaps Lulu?

General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Blackmails Portia, Sabotages The Savoy- Will Portia Help?

Drew Blackmails Portia
General Hospital: Drew and Curtis go to war

Drew’s personality got a makeover in what seems like overnight. Although, if you think back to when he first got out of Pentonville, something seemed about him then. Once the selfless and heroic Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), was saved suddenly acting out of

First, Drew lashed out at Sam. According to General Hospital recaps, Drew’s first major outburst was over a year ago. Back then he took it upon himself to enroll Scout into Westwood Academy. He did this without consulting Sam, and without considering how Scout herself would feel about changing schools.

Surprisingly, that was over a year ago already. It started out with one outburst, but today Drew has an entirely different personality! What a difference a year can make! So much has happened within the year, and Drew has shown more and more signs of a different, much darker side.

Drew Blackmails Portia

After his argument with Sam (Kelly Monaco), Drew’s dark side revealed itself over time. Everything from Drew’s petty jealousy towards Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), breaking up with Carly over his return, one word…Nina! Then there’s Michael, Curtis, Tracy, and of course, Willow, led us here.

According to General Hospital spoilers, we can add Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to the list of people’s lives that Drew dismantles. General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Drew goes portia with the information he obtained from Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Drew wants Portia’s help and dangles her devious deeds over her head. Will Portia sneak behind Curtis’s back to save herself?

General Hospital News And Spoilers: It’s A Family Affair! Nanzeen Contractor As ADA Turner

GH’s Jenz Sidwell and ADA Turner
General Hospital: Prospect Studios; Nanzeen Contractor on GH Set

Carlo Rota and Nanzeen Contractor as GH’s Jenz Sidwell and ADA Turner! City Officials from Port Charles have their work cut out for them lately. Between organized crime, unborn baby murders, custody battles, and mysterious GH patient deaths, the PCPD, lawyers, and city council has been up to their ears in legal work. Thankfully, the staffing is stacked, and there’s always someone to carryout official law enforcement work. We wouldn’t want any new enemies of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) coming to disturb the peace, now would we? Well, let’s just see what Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has in store.

A few months ago, someone planted a bomb in Sonny’s penthouse. Although Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was in the wrong place at the wrong time, the message was meant as a warning. Sonny got the message loud and clear, but who was the messenger?

Currently, the people of Port Charles deal with Cyrus Renault’s killings, and sudden disappearance as Jeff Kober exited General Hospital. When it comes to Sonny’s enemies, Cyrus was as dangerous as they come. But now that he’s gone, PC focuses on a new villain.

Surprise, surprise (not really though), Sonny has a new enemy in town. Jenz Sidwell may know how to charm the ladies, but can he charm his way into Sonny’s territory? General Hospital rumors hint that the person responsible for the penthouse fire is most likely the newcomer Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). There’s no doubt that the PCPD will be seeing a lot more of Sidwell. Luckily, his portrayer Carlo Rota gets to share in the behind-the-scenes fun with his wife, actress Nanzeen Contractor.

Behind The Scenes With GH’s ADA Turner, Nanzeen Contractor

According to General Hospital recaps, ADA Turner was appointed by the state in Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) vs. Ava Jerome (Maura West)’s trial. Conteavtor first aired as ADA turned from November 24th, 2024, to December 6th. Actress and wife of GH’s Carlo Rota, Nanzeen is known for her roles on CBC’s The Border, CBS’s Ransom, and Fox’s 24. After her 2024 GH appearances, ADA Turner (Contractor) popped back up in Port Charles to question Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

General Hospital: Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and ADA Turner (Nanzeen Contractor)
General Hospital: Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and ADA Turner (Nanzeen Contractor)

According to recent GH comings and goings news, Contractor posted a dressing room selfie on Instagram. The actress tagged the location, Prospect Studios, as she took a mirror selfie in hair and makeup. General Hospital spoilers tease that ADA Turner was called to action. Evidently, Port Charles officials are laser focused on finding the suspect in Cyrus’s murder. Will Jason become subject to ADA Turner’s unbiased opinion of him yet again?

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny and Lois’s Secret, A Mutual Decision To Keep Hiding The Truth

Lois and Sonny’s Secret Grandchild
General Hospital: Are Lois and Sonny keeping a secret?

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is known as the mobster with a heart of gold. One reason his heart has the Midas touch is his financial generosity to various causes. In fact, Port Charles benefits greatly from his contributions. Not only is the Port Charles mob boss down for a good cause, he doesn’t like to see a young life struggle. Stone, Jason, Dev, Brando, Dex… and now Gio Palmieri (Gio Mazza) from Bensonhurst. I’m sure I’ve forgotten to name a troubled teen or two, but history proves that Sonny has a knack for taking strays (just kidding) under his wing.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Gio is the latest less-fortunate teen to strike gold after crossing Sonny’s path. Despite the seemingly similar situations, GH rumors tease that something is different this time. Evidently, Sonny has been throwing money at Gio his entire life, and telling Lois to take a little off the top for herself. No I don’t know about you, but I think that’s Sonny and are in this together.

Lois and Sonny’s Secret Grandchild

At this point it’s pretty obvious that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) knows a lot more about Brook Lynn’s baby than Brook Lynn. After all, BLQ was just a teen when she became pregnant with Dante Falconeri’s and baby. If you are wondering if Brooklyn blames her mom in anyway for her decision to give up the baby, the answer is no. General Hospital recaps recall that Brook Lynn has made it very clear that she was not ready to be a mother at that time, and she doesn’t feel like she was pushed by Lois in any certain direction. In fact, the scared teen put all of her trust in one person at the most difficult time in her life. Brook Lynn trusts her mother Lois more than anyone maybe even more than Chase.

General Hospital rumors and spoilers tease that devastation rocks Port Charles when Lois’s secret is exposed. Apparently, there’s more to Lois’s secret as she shares the burden with someone else. Yes! According to the latest GH spoilers and rumors, Sonny and Lois both know about Gio. But supposedly, it wasn’t until later down the line when Lois caved and told Sonny about their grandson. Or did she?

If Lois reached out to Sonny for financial support, could they have decided together that this is best left a secret from Dante and BLQ?

Lately, some subtle clues alluded to a deeper connection between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Gio Palmieri (Gio Mazza). It seems as though Lois possibly needed Sonny’s financial support at the time. If you think about it, Sonny has been extra generous to Gio and Lois.

General Hospital News and Spoilers: “God Was Actually Laughing At Me,” GH’s Tabyana Ali Breaks It Down

Tabyana Ali as Trina Robinson
General Hospital: Tabyana Ali On Soap Opera Acting

Tabyana Ali as Trina Robinson. Ali passes along a message to fans and actors. Fast paced and “not for the faint of heart,” I’ve heard that Soap Opera acting is quite a challenge. Daytime dramas bring a special type of entertainment to its audience. While many television dramas captivate audiences, we can’t say that there are many shows that air Monday through Friday. General Hospital fans are lucky enough to be able to get their fix almost every day. But it’s that cliffhanger Friday that we really look forward to!

Reportedly, behind the scenes of a daytime soap opera is on another level. Actors such as Laura Wright, Steve Burton, Bradford Anderson, and others have described their work as very fast-paced, with long hours, and early and late call times. Despite the challenging nature of the work, some people buy into the stereotype.

The Beautiful Tabyana Ali as Trina Robinson on General Hospital

General Hospital news and spoilers report that GH’s Trina Robinson, played by Tabyana Ali, is here to tell fans the truth about what it’s like on the set of a soap opera. The 23 year old actress shares her insight on the many wonders of working on a daytime drama as a full time actor.
