Michael Fairman Interviews Steve Burton
This Michael Fairman interview with Steve Burton is absolutely amazing. All the questions the fans have been asking since Steve left General Hospital have finally been answered. Many fans are disgruntled, confused, and even angry at what they THINK the facts are related to the entire situation. From Steve leaving GH to move to Tennessee, to then returning to soaps by joining The Young and The Restless, to the way Jason was written off; fans thought the worst of Steve and/or ABC. I sure hope ALL General Hospital and Steve Burton fans read this interview.
The rumors about Steve plotting to go to Y&R all along, or the executives at GH not offering Burton a compromise are untrue. Steve Burton also explains that Jason’s send off was due to lack of time. Time was running out and the writing team had to come up with something. It would be really great to stop reading such negativity from fans who think Steve was untruthful or that ABC just didn’t care enough to keep him. That is entirely not the case. In the interview, Michael asks Steve about the day he left. Steve explains how difficult it was emotionally and mentions that it was very hard on Maurice Benard (Sonny). This actually brought tears to my eyes. He also mentioned that it was very difficult leaving Kelly Monaco Sam), and that it is still weird not being able to see her everyday.
Michael Fairman also asked Steve if there were plans for Jason’s return to GH for the anniversary show. Steve Burton expressed that he would love to come back for the 50th, but since he is now on CBS he is not sure if that will be allowed. All this being out it the open, I hope fans and Steve Burton have closure now in regards to what really happened during and after the time of his exit. After all thins said and done, Steve did what was best for his family and his life.

Caleb Morley’s Alternate Identities
If you hadn’t watched General Hospital’s spin off Port Charles some ten years ago, than you probably wouldn’t have much of an idea as to who they were talking about today on GH in regards to the Vampires. Back in the day on Port Charles, King of Vampires, Caleb Morley had two alternative identities One was Michael Morley, a former Priest, and the other was a rock star named Stephen Clay. His stage performances included ‘acting’ like a Vampire. Lucy still believes that the danger in Port Charles is because of the evil doing of a Vampire, named Caleb. McBain tries to explain to her that Stephen Clay is just a sick serial killer.
Maurice Benard’s New Film: ‘The Ghost and the Whale’ Trailer
Hi all! I know I don’t typically post about outside projects or what the actors are doing in their personal lives, (except Kelly Monaco and DWTS), but I felt that Maurice’s amazing work should be recognized. Not only is he a General Hospital vet who we can’t imagine the show without, his talents exceed more than what we see every day at 2PM. It’s apparent in his work that he is an extremely talented actor. His multifaceted artistic talents never cease to amaze. Now GH’s favorite mobster, Sonny Corinthos, played by Maurice Benard, is stepping into a new role in a film called “The Ghost and the Whale.” We are very excited to get to see him in another project along with his work on General Hospital. Julie Marie Berman (Lulu) Leaving General Hospital?
A recent article in Soaps in Depth magazine suggests that the actress Julie Marie Berman, who plays Lulu Spencer Falconeri, may be leaving General Hospital. Her contract with the show is ending soon and Berman is undecided on whether or not she will stay. She wants to pursue other endeavors but may extend her role a few months to give Lulu a proper send off. GH has also sent out a casting call notice for a possible recast. If the role of Lulu does indeed get recast, how would you all feel if Jen Lilley was the one to take Julie’s place?
Dr. Steven Webber is Stabbed
Olivia has a hallucination and sees her fiance Dr. Steven Webber get stabbed walking out of the shower. This time, Olivia’s hallucination is a premonition in it’s truest form. As we know that Scott Reeves is leaving General Hospital, Olivia’s vision will come true and his character, Steven Lars (Steven Webber) will die. There’s a serial killer on the loose. Will Steve fall victim of a random killing? Or will his Mother, Heather be involved?
Sonny and Connie Make Love
Sonny and Connie spent Valentine’s Day together. Connie finally heard the words she has been hoping to hear out of Sonny. “I want you,” is what he said to her before they kissed and made their way to a private room at The Haunted Star. Sonny has a lot to deal with when it comes to Connie. She loves him, she hates him, she tries to sabotage him, she supports him. Despite everything Connie has done, Sonny reassures her that he is by her side when she expresses her fear. Connie tells him this is the happiest she has been in her whole life. This makes us wonder how long the bliss between Sonny and Connie can last. Previews mention the return of Kate very soon. Will this be the end of Connie?

Lulu Receives the Original Ice Princess
Lulu received a mysterious gift. When she opened it, she and Dante thought it was strange and brushed it off as a joke. When Dante and Lulu ran into her parents, Luke and Laura, Lulu showed them the “black rock,.” or as Lulu referred to it as a “burnt cake pop.” Both had shocked looks on their faces and asked Lulu where she got that from. Dante and Lulu admitted that they didn’t know where it came from. Is this the new beginning of Helena’s reign of terror? The Cassadines were responsible for this little rock way back long ago when it almost froze the world. Will history repeat itself or will things be even worse this time around? With the Ice Princess resurfacing, this could also mean that more Cassadines will be resurfacing as well. Helena’s true motive will eventually be revealed.
