Michael Easton (John McBain) Forced to Leave General Hospital

Rumors have been flying about the departure of three OLTL vets, Easton, Alderson, and Howarth. Today, Michael Easton who played the character of John McBain on OLTL and now GH has announced that he can no longer (as of February 8th) legally be part of General Hospital. The reason is because of the relaunch of OLTL. OLTL legally owns these characters. His announcement via Facebook was to inform fans not to send things to ABC’s General Hospital studio because he will not be there long enough to receive anything that was sent. Instead he asked them to make a donation to the American Cancer Society. News regarding Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning) and Roger Howarth (Todd Manning) has yet to be confirmed.

General Hospital Spoilers: Vampires in Port Charles

Port Charles Vampires Kelly Monaco and Michael Easton Livvie Locke Caleb Morley Port Charles Vampires
Vampires in Port Charles Livvie and Caleb

Vampires? Honestly, as wild as it sounds for a daytime television Soap Opera, Vampires aren’t the strangest thing to happen on a daytime drama. From General Hospital’s weather machine to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) of Days Of Our Lives having been possessed by the devil, vampires became just another “only on Soaps” storyline.

ABC’s spin off of General Hospital, then you are probably very confused right now. Port Charles had ties to General Hospital with people like Karen Wexler, Lucy Coe, Kevin Collins, Scotty Baldwin, and some faces that surfaced on Port Charles who were known as Livvie Locke and Caleb Morley. Today we know them as Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and John McBain (Michael Easton).

Moreover, GH news reports confirm that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is back in Port Charles. After years of being off the canvas, Lucy returns to find herself questioning her own memory. Ironically, Lucy remembers John McBain (Michael Easton) as a vampire named Caleb Morley, and Sam Morgan as Livvie Locke. When John McBain arrived in Port Charles he and Sam felt an unexplained connection. According to General Hospital spoilers, Sam and John may have found the they feel so connected. Could they have known each other in a past life?

The New Mystery Characters of GH

Today on General Hospital you saw some faces that may or may not have been familiar to you. If you watched Port Charles, you would recognize Erin Hershey Presley as Alison Barrington Kovich. She returned today on GH, along with her son, Rafe and GH vet Jon Lindstrom (Dr. Kevin Collins).

Another Quartermaine Heir

Heather holds the key to what will determine the future for ELQ. She read in Edward’s will that there is another Quartermaine heir. Back in 2009, Franco encountered Carly and Joss at the Christmas tree lot. He told her that he once had a daughter named Lauren, and that his wife was a bitch. He didn’t elaborate on anything else. It looks as if we will be seeing Franco’s daughter on the canvas and she will be the next Quartermaine heir. Here is the video again to when Franco tells Carly about his daughter.

Welcome Kevin Collins!

Watch General Hospital today as Jon Lindstrom reprises his role as Dr. Kevin Collins. He is back in Port Charles to come to Lucy’s aide. Watch today!

Sabrina Stands up to Britt

Finally. Sabrina opens her mouth and stands up for what is right. Emma (Brooklyn Silzer) ran off and Sabrina happened to be walking by the docks and spotted her. She was feeding the ducks as she had done before with Sabrina because it makes her happy. When Sabrina found the emotionally hurt little girl, she asked her what she was doing out there all alone. Emma replied by telling Sabrina that Britt told her she didn’t like her, but she didn’t care because the feeling was mutual. Sabrina was able to bring Emma back to Kelly’s, where they encountered Patrick, Anna, Mac, and Britt. I was so glad when Sabrina just came out with it and told Patrick that Britt told Emma she didn’t like her, AND that she was sure she wasn’t making it all up. It will be interesting to see Patrick elaborate on his reaction since today we only got to see a blank stare. Anna will most definitely not be happy with this news. I really hope Britt gets it for this one. She deserves the wrath of Commissioner DeVane aka (Grandma)!!! It’s great that little actress Brooklyn is getting this big story. She really does a fantastic job playing Emma.

Olivia’s Dog Hallucination

Ever since Olivia started “seeing” Maxie, Lulu, and Dante with that dog, I could not figure out how in the world it could be related to the baby Maxie would be carrying for Dante and Lulu. On New Year’s Eve, when the dog came to Maxie’s apartment, she chased it, and she fell and lost the baby, I thought for sure that was the last we would be seeing of that cute cuddly pup in Olivia’s premonitions. Last week, Olivia “saw” Maxie holding the dog again. This time there was an explanation. They were discussing what the animal looked like and Maxie and Olivia were in agreement that it looked like a little wolf. Maxie put the pieces together and said to herself, “a jackal!” We all know the Spinelli we know and love refers to himself as The Jackal. I was so happy that this was cleared up and so fascinated with the way this came out and was pieced together. I have to say I am loving every bit of Maxie carrying Spinelli’s baby!
