Now that I have had time to process the casting news, I have been able to rationalize and although I am truly disappointed in the fact that Lexi Ainsworth will not be entertaining us as Kristina on GH, it is unfair to not give the new actress a chance. I will try to stay positive because I know supporting General Hospital is imperative to it’s survival. I will always be a GH fan and therefore I would rather have aspects of the show that I am unhappy with than not have the show at all. That being said, I hope all of us GH fans can find it in our hearts to accept the things we are not 100% behind for the sake of the show in it’s entirety. I want to thank @HaleyJean45 for helping me put things into perspective. We as fans all need to stick together no matter what decisions are made, even if that means our favorite couple calls it quits or our favorite character becomes something they never were. I wish the best of luck to Lexi Ainsworth in her future endeavors and to Lindsey Morgan on her new role as Kristina Davis Corinthos.
GH News: Lindsey Morgan Cast as New Kristina Davis Corinthos!
As a fan of Lexi Ainsworth and her portrayal on Kristina, I don’t really agree with Kristina needing to look older or more mature. This isn’t specific to Kristina either. I just don’t feel that a character needs to be changed simply to age them. However, Lindsey Morgan looks a lot like Ainsworth, just older. I am worried she looks too close in age to Kelly Monaco (Sam). Sam is supposed to be Kristina’s older, wiser, more experienced sister and Lindsey Morgan (to play Kristina) looks more mature than Ainsworth which in my opinion may interfere with the fact that Sam is much older than her little sis. Grahn, Monaco, Ainsworth, and Pullos were perfect together and it’s always hard for me to get accustomed to change, but that’s just me. I do think that Ms. Morgan will end up pulling off a stellar Kristina just like other new actors have pulled off replacing other characters. It was hard for me when Tamara Braun left as Carly and Laura Wright eventually took over, and when Maxie was taken over by Jen. Needless to say these women took charge and made these roles their own and made me love them! Good luck to Lindsey Morgan, the GH and Kristina fans welcome her to the canvas.
Dr. Matt Hunter (Jason Cook) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) Film Project
Dr. Matt Hunter and Damien Spinelli are working together on something other than saving Maxie Jones from herself. Off screen, Jason Cook (Matt) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) will be working on a film together. The two men are teaming up on this project and need out help. Jason Cook will be directing and Bradford Anderson will be starring in the film. James Franco: Francophrenia and General Hospital
With just one day away for the opening of the Tribeca Film Festival, I am just filled with excitement about the movie by James Franco, ‘Francophrenia’ (Or, Don’t Kill Me, I Know Where the Baby Is). Based on the TV character Franco (Robert Frank) from the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital, this movie is about the sociopath, serial killing, Jason Morgan (played by Steve Burton)-obsessed artist who now has turned out to be Jason’s twin brother! This film will lead the Tribeca Film Festival line up held April 18-29, 2012.
James Franco took on the role of Franco on GH to explore the worlds of acting and to prepare for another role which he would play a soap opera character. Franco explains his experience on GH as a learning experience, and experimental.
General Hospital News And Spoilers: Kelly Sullivan Rocks it as Kate Howard/ Connie Falconeri
Quite literally, Monday’s episode was EXPLOSIVE!
General Hospital recaps highlight Monday’s intense scene between Jason Morgan and Kate/Connie. Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) blew up at Jason (Steve Burton) and verbally assaulted him. But first, Kate Howard was as poised and collected as can be.
According to General Hospital news reports, this visit the first time in Daytime Television history that a character exhibits split personalities. However, GH fans rave about Sullivan’s skills as an actor. One minute she is Kate Howard, a sophisticated, professional, and poised woman. Then, the next thing you know she is acting erratically and out of control as Connie Falconeri.
Kelly Sullivan’s performances have been nothing short of purely entertaining and I can’t wait to see what’s next. She really knows how to bring it in every scene!
For the first time Kate heard Connie’s voice in her own head. She struggled with this intrusive dialogue and it drove her absolutely insane. As Kate, she tried so hard to keep her composure then lost it! Ultimately, she wound up screaming right in front of Jason.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Kate is on the verge of losing her mind completely. Dr. Keenan (Nathin Butler) better get through to Kate ASAP before she turns into Connie for good! Keep watching!
JaSam and Baby Morgan: Will Sam Tell Jason?
The DNA results are in and the last scene we caught a glimpse of was Sam holding the envelope by the docks. John McBain walks up and sees the results in Sam’s hands, then it ends. Of course! Will Sam open it? Will she toss it in the water because she wants to remember she and Jason being happy about the baby? I wonder if Sam will open the results with John there for moral support. If so, I don’t think Jason will appreciate that very much. All I know is, is that Sam better tell Jason the truth ASAP before Heather sticks her creepy nose into it. It’s always less painful when you hear something from the person directly. If Heather gets a hold of Jason before Sam gets a chance to explain things, this could get bad for JaSam. Let’s hope for the best!
What Does Heather Have in Store for Jason and Sam?
Heather has always been known to cause trouble, especially for people who are on her naughty list. Sam made a promise to Heather and didn’t deliver. Watch out Sam, Heather wants revenge and she is coming after you… and Jason!
Carly Jacks and Johnny Zacchara! Love it?
I am sure Carly and Johnny will be moving up the favorite couples lists! I am a huge fan of these two getting together. They are steaming up their scenes just by looking at each other. Laura Wright and Brandon Barash have great chemistry and have really been keeping this thing entertaining. I haven’t seen Johnny Z. like this in a long time, especially since he lost Claudia. He is actually sweet with Carly and acts like he truly cares for her. What will happen when Carly finds out about Johnny and Connie? Will that be the end of this new hot couple? Let’s hope not.
…I must say Johnny Zacchara/Brandon Barash looks damn good on a normal day, but this suit get up he has going on really looks HOT! Johnny Z. really cleans up nice. 🙂
Back From The Dead! Wish List.
Throughout the years some of our favorite (and most hated) characters have come and gone. This is a list of characters who we wish would come back from the dead! Anything is possible in the wonderful world of soaps. Who do you miss the most?
Not in any particular order:
Alan Quartermaine- HUGE disappointment seeing this vet character axed.
Jake Webber- This was an unnecessary story line which only irritated the viewers. Luke’s involvement was completely tasteless.
Georgie Jones- One of the only “good girl” characters on a soap opera. Wholesome and sweet, honest, loving, brave and selfless. She should have stuck around.
Emily Quartermaine- Simply because they should never have wiped out almost the entire Q clan!
AJ Quartermaine- So much could have been done with this character.
Claudia Zacchara- That girl was so good at being bad.
FRANCO- Simply because he is Franco! Love, love LOVE this character and the actor!! Go James!!! I was fascinated with his performance on the show and interest in doing it.

Luke and Anna: More than Friends?
There is no doubt that these two light up the screen whenever they are together. They have a long history, have been through it all, and have remained friends throughout the years. They are connected in so many ways and their friendship runs true. But what if there is something more? A spark, a flame, an ignition that goes well beyond history and longevity. Would it last? Would it ruin their friendship if things didn’t pan out? Is it worth the risk? Don’t forget Laura, and Tracy, and of course there is Robert. Truth is, the idea of Luke and Anna becoming romantically involved is a nice idea on the surface. They are cute together, funny, care for and respect each other. However, I would feel really bad for Tracy. I realize she and Luke are not together and she is married to good ole Anthony Zacchara. But in her heart of hearts Tracy truly does love Luke. Those two are so fun together. They are funny which is an important element to be added to the drama of the PC canvas. Luke loves Tracy (Spanky Buns) too and right now he has been side tracked by her marriage to that crazy old man. Laura may never come back to Port Chuckles, but her memory still remains and Anna knows who she was to Luke and what she meant to him. Then there is Robert. Robert and Anna are also legendary. I am unsure if this sort of thing should be messed with. Some thing just shouldn’t be touched, even in soaps, but I am not 100% convinced this is one of them. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens and what the future holds for Luke and Anna. What do you think? Should Luke and Anna be the new GH “IT” couple?
