John Stamos Returning to GH as Blackie Parrish?

There have been rumors going back and forth on whether or not John Stamos would be reprising his role as Blackie Parrish on General Hospital. News stories discussed the miscommunication between the actor and GH Head Writer, Ron Carlivati and Executive Producer, Frank Valentini via Twitter. Things were very unclear as to what was going on. Was John Stamos returning? Was he even asked, or did he decline? Well earlier this evening John Stamos sent out a Tweet with a picture of him and friend, GH star Kin Shriner, (Scotty Baldwin). Is this the return of Blackie Parrish? Fans are routing for it to be true. They have already speculated a story line, hoping he will be Sam’s Father.

Prospect Park Speaks Out About John, Starr, and Todd

Prospect Park just released a statement regarding the status of characters John McBain, Starr Manning, and Todd Manning. They said that they are willing to work something out to be able to share the characters so that this results in a win-win situation for everyone involved. GH fans have grown to love these characters and were saddened to hear of their possible departure from Port Charles. OLTL fans also want their beloved characters. So hopefully this way, everyone can be happy. Judging from this week’s General Hospital Blog Poll results, the fans really want this trio to stay. 61% of fans want then to stay in Port Charles, 29% would like them to be shared between PC and Llanview, and the remaining 10% say they should be in Llanview. Basically 90% want them in some way to remain at General Hospital.

Michael Easton, Kristen Alderson, and Roger Howarth to Remain on General Hospital?

After Michael Easton’s announcement on Facebook regarding the legal issues tied to the reason he would have to leave GH on February 8th, ABC made a statement saying that  they plan on Easton, Alderson, and Howarth remaining at GH after all. Although Prospect Park has a licensing agreement for the characters of John McBain, Todd Manning, and Starr Manning, the actors are still under contract with General Hospital. ABC is trying to come up with a plan to keep these characters on the show. They mentioned the possibility of changing John McBain’s name permanently to Caleb Morley. As for Starr and Todd, there hasn’t been any developments on how ABC will pull off a character change without confusing the viewers. General Hospital Blog will keep you informed as new developments are posted. Thank You!

Michael Easton (John McBain) Forced to Leave General Hospital

Rumors have been flying about the departure of three OLTL vets, Easton, Alderson, and Howarth. Today, Michael Easton who played the character of John McBain on OLTL and now GH has announced that he can no longer (as of February 8th) legally be part of General Hospital. The reason is because of the relaunch of OLTL. OLTL legally owns these characters. His announcement via Facebook was to inform fans not to send things to ABC’s General Hospital studio because he will not be there long enough to receive anything that was sent. Instead he asked them to make a donation to the American Cancer Society. News regarding Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning) and Roger Howarth (Todd Manning) has yet to be confirmed.

Is James Franco Returning to GH?

General Hospital has recently posted a casting call for a woman in her 20’s who has a tendency of getting in trouble. Rumors are circulating that she will be playing a woman who will eventually be revealed to be Franco’s daughter. Back in 2009, Franco ran into Carly at the Christmas tree lot and briefly touched on the topic of him having a child. He even said her name was Lauren, and his wife was a bitch. With this as a possible new story, could Franco resurface to accompany his daughter? Only time will tell what is in store for the people of Port Charles!

Fans have been Tweeting Frank Valentini addressing their excitement on a possible Jagger return. Nothing has been confirmed except Sabato Jr. Tweeted that he met with Valentini in 2012. What do you think? Should the people of Port Charles be graced with Jagger’s presence after all these years?
