Frank Valentini Talks GH Surprises

As true General Hospital fans, I think that we should all stay optimistic that General Hospital will have a long life ahead despite all the rumors and changes that are going on now. The time slot change, the Summer’s off rumor, GAA ratings possibly hurting the life of GH, and all the other threats and obstacles the General Hospital family has had to endure in the recent months. In an article I found at TVSourceMagazine.com, GH Executive Producer, Frank Valentini talks about the surprises headed for GH. Is Dr. Steven Webber (Scott Reeves) Leaving GH?

There has been a rumor that Scott Reeves who plays Dr. Steven Webber, aka Steven Lars, is leaving GH. Maybe all the hype is due to the rumor or Steve and Olivia’s split. Anyways, today on Twitter a fan tweeted to @Reevesforreal and asked about the rumor and if she could have a hint. Scott Reeves did not reply but he retweeted the fans tweet. Could this be the hint? Getting the word out on Twitter that he is leaving? What do you think? We fans sure hope this rumor does not come true!

General Hospital Blog Meets Scott Reeves! GH’s Dr. Steven Webber

General Hospital’s Dr. Steven Webber, or as Heather likes to call him, Steven Lars, played by Scott Reeves was at the Stars and Stripes Festival in Mt. Clemens Michigan for a meet and greet. I was lucky enough to scoot right out of work and head to the festival to meet him. It was a really fun experience, Scott was very nice to all his fans and was happy to be out meeting the people who support GH. We discussed the new time slot, fans, GH history, and Port Chuck. He said they really want Michigan to be part of future Port Chuck tours, and we threw around some possible venues in Detroit and Royal Oak for the show to be held. I hope Michigan gets to rock to some Port Chuck sooner than later! All in all it was great meeting Scott Reeves and I was happy to express my love for GH and my gratitude toward his hard work on the show. Thanks Scott!!!

Congratulations General Hospital!

Congratulations to all of the cast and crew of General Hospital for their big win at the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards! General Hospital took home 5 awards on Saturday, including Outstanding Drama Series. Congrats to Anthony Geary on his win for Lead Actor, to Nancy Lee Grahan for Best Supporting Actress, to Jonathon Jackson for Best Supporting Actor, and to the GH directing team! Also, congratulations to ALL the GH nominees, your fans are very proud of you!!! This awards ceremony got me so emotional. I shed tears of joy and happiness for my favorite show, GH, and also tears of sadness for the actors and actresses of All My Children and One Life to Live. I still believe that the loss of those two soaps were made under wrongful decisions and has resulted in an historic television network mistake. I am very proud of ABC’s last soap standing and have confidence that GH will continue to touch the lives of fans everywhere five days a week , for many years to come. Congrats General Hospital!

Is Kirsten Storms Returning to GH?

There has finally been a break in the silence that has lasted many months over whether or not Kirsten Storms will reprise her role as Maxie Jones on General Hospital. A recent news article states that it just might be the case. Of course, this would mean, the very well loved Jen Lilley would be stepping out of the role. Jen stepped in for Kirsten last September when Kirsten became ill. She was due to return to GH around February of last year but because of further complications she was unable to do so. Blair Kramer is Leaving Llanview and Headed Back to Port Charles!

Kassie DePaiva will be returning to General Hospital as Blair Kramer, former Llanview resident. She is the ex wife of bad boy Todd Manning and Mother to Starr Manning. She first came to Port Charles a couple months ago when Starr was in an accident and lost her boyfriend and little girl Hope. Blair seemed to hit it of with Carly, they have a lot in common. Maybe the two lovely ladies could become great friends even though their ex husbands are at dangerous odds with one another.

Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri: 17 Again!

After watching Kate today, I realized something. I remembered that a while back when people would talk about children she would get uneasy. At one point she was talking to Lucky about having kids. I am recalling that it’s always been a touchy subject for her and figured it dated back to when she was with Sonny as a teenager. Well it’s all coming together now. Kate, now only knowing herself as Connie, a 17 year old Bensonhurst girl in love with her boyfriend Sonny, thinks she is pregnant. Shit just got real for Kate/Connie! This DID is deeper than we all imagined, and Kate is going to need all the help she can get. Only time will tell us what happened to her child way back then. Will Sonny have yet another child out there somewhere in the world? Kelly Sullivan must be worn out from crying and freaking out all the time. She is doing a fantastic job and is a spectacular actress. She really pulls the audience in and keeps us wanting more.
