There’s much speculation surrounding Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s General Hospital status. It was confirmed that the Emmy winning actor would take a temporary leave from TVs longest running drama. Chavez is starting in the Netflix thriller Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story as Lyle Menendez.
General Hospital news reports confirm that Nicholas Chavez’s last air date was January 31, 2024. Previously, GH Blog shared news regarding Chavez’s GH status. According to GH spoilers, Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s exit was only temporary. In fact, GH spoilers reported that he’d return to GH in about three months time. However, updated GH news reports indicate that it’s not likely he’ll return to General Hospital. Recent clues have led to the latest reports on Chavez’s GH status.

GH Newcomers Charles Mesure and Adam J. Harrington stepped into a major storyline involving some of the biggest roles on General Hospital. Although Valentin’s intentions were from the heart, the lie tore them apart. Today, Valentin would still do anything for Nina, and she has forgiven him for the past.
Both Nina and Valentin have moved onto other love interests since their relationship ended. Eventually, Valentin got Anna to fall in the with him, and Nina imprisoned Sonny and then married him. Through it all, Nina and Valentin remained close friends.
Valentin Wants Nina All To Himself

Evidently, social media posting and sharing has taken a rare, but familiar turn. According to General Hospital news, GH star Marcus Coloma (ex-Nikolas Cassadine) hinted of his shocking GH exit. In December Of 2022 Coloma unfollowed all accounts relating to General Hospital on Instagram and Twitter. General Hospital blog and observant fans noticed the clues almost immediately. Soon after, GH rumors about Coloma’s GH status rapidly spread through fan groups and pages.
Fast forward over a year and we have come across a similar situation. Ironically, Coloma’s TV son Nicholas Chavez who plays Spencer Cassadine Has unfollowed General Hospital co-stars and content. According to General Hospital news reports Chavez took time off Spencer for his role in the Netflix series, Monsters: Lyle and Eric Menendez. The young Emmy winner was set to return in May of 2024 to reprise his role as Spencer Cassadine. General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Josh Kelly exits General Hospital. Recently, Josh joined co-stars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson on their podcast called Daily Drama. The three GH stars discussed various topics which then focused on Kelly’s upcoming movie. “I’m doing a movie. It’s pretty cool,” admitted Kelly. “I’m doing a revenge pic called The Workout Video.”
