In a recent Instagram post, Sweda shared his excitement to be back at GH.
We are happy to see that the recast was temporary and Easton is back playing the adorable Leo.
It’s not uncommon to suddenly see a new face around Port Charles. Actors come and go, and especially with children, they are often times replaced to age the character. In the soap world, it’s called SORAS (Soap Opera Rapid Age Syndrome).

Fans rally room to Sweda’s portrayal of Leo. Leo was diagnosed with Autism, reviving love and support from his mom, Olivia and soon to be adoptive father, Ned (Wally Kurth). At the time of Leo’s diagnosis on GH, actor Easton Rocket Sweda took to Instagram to let fans know that he too is autistic. The love and support he received from fans was touching. Now that he may have been replaced, GH fans are anxious as they await GH casting news.

GH star confirms, Chad and Courtney were never married! Last year, General Hospital star Chad Duell and ex-fiancé/wife Courtney Hope’s Valentine’s Day engagement made headlines.
Reportedly, General Hospital fan-favorite character, Michael, got married last year in real life. General Hospital news reports revealed that the daytime drama stars, Duell (Michael Corinthos, GH) and Hope (Sally Spectra, B&B), were together for about 5 years before deciding to lock down their love life and with an engagement.
Then, they made headlines with their unique choice of wedding theme. When it comes to their wedding day this acting duo didn’t hold back on the theatrics. Evidently, Chad and Courtney choose a Halloween “Til Death” themed wedding. They were surrounded by family and friends which included their GH and B&B families to help celebrate. Besties such as Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait), and Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore), and many more were in attendance.
In more recent General Hospital news, GH fans became curious when Chad and Courtney removed the photos of their “wedding” from Instagram. General Hospital spoilers reveal, Chad explains the situation in a recent episode of Maurice Benard’s State of Mind. According to General Hospital spoilers, Chad Duell addressed his split from Courtney. Maurice asked Chad the burning question, and without going into too much detail, the GH star explained, “All I’ll say is she’s an amazing person, she’s an amazing woman, she’s an amazing dog mom.”
He went on to clarify any confusion and assumptions on the topic, he disclosed, “it’s a complicated situation… but it’s not what people think.” Duell wanted to make it clear that there is no bad blood between the two of them, and both of them have not betrayed the other. He adds, “We’re still on good terms. She’s an amazing person in so many ways.” Chad spoke of his former fiancé. He confirmed, “All I have to say is positive things. It’s just- mutual.”
Then, Duell divulged some unexpected information. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Chad dropped a major bombshell. That’s when GH’s Michael made a shocking confession. He admitted to Maurice and the entire state of mind audience that he and Courtney were never legally married.
“We didn’t actually sign anything,” he confirmed. “We weren’t really, like, you know, married or anything. It was amicable. That’s all I can really say. We always want the best for each other.”
The couple when their separate ways just two months after their “unofficial” wedding. We wish both Chad and Courtney all the best!

In a recent interview, Genie admitted that she too is just as clueless (and hopeful) as the fans. When it comes to Luke’s demise, she doesn’t know what to believe. Genie revealed, “I feel like they’re setting the stage, really, for a wonderful comeback,” she confessed, “and I’m going to keep my fingers crossed for that.” Genie also told an ABC reporter, “George, no one stays dead on a soap. I don’t know how many times I’ve been dead. Really!”
As expected, General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Genie wasn’t only one who was thrown for a loop. Moreover, she isn’t the only one hopeful that the writers have a trick up their sleeves. Hughes says,“I really want there to be some kind of mystery as to how this happened,” she disclosed, “what happened to Luke, and if we can investigate that, all of us, that would be perfect.”
Another co-star who has been down for the ride since day one, Tristan Rogers, expressed is disbelief as well. Rogers added. “And has it actually happened? I mean, frankly, we have a little urn that’s about this big that’s supposed to contain him and that’s it.”
Additionally, Co-star and friend, Jackie Zeman (Bobbie Spencer) doesn’t wanna believe that her tv brother is gone. Zeman said that she’s holding out hope that this accident is just a decoy for a bigger story- involving a very much alive Luke.

Like the current situation with Luke, fans want to believe that he isn’t dead. Since there has been no proof, GH fans are reluctant to accept that the iconic role and life of Luke Spencer has been cut short.
Anthony Geary was introduced to the soap opera in 1978. His popularity spread like whole fire. Fast forward over four decades later and it’s safe to say Geary’s portrayal of Luke left fans wanting more.
