Confirmed! Steve Burton returns to General Hospital next week! Although his on-screen return date is still TBA, Steve Burton reports back to Prospect Studios the week of February 5th, 2024.
Reflecting on Sonny and Dex’s conversation, Sonny believes the attack was an inside operation. Only someone who has spent a significant amount of time learning the landscape could pull off an ambush like that. Additionally, the individual would need to exhibit strong, survival skills, and more hell of a shot.

Instead, actors who wish to enter should submit their work into the Leading, Supporting, or Guest categories.

He admits, “I don’t have an exact start date but I start next week on the show,” Burton added, “Which is awesome.”
Is Avery leaving GH as Esme? Avery Pohl’s GH contract reveals Esme’s fate
Avery Kristen Pohl stuns GH fans with her stellar acting. The 22 year old actress originated the role of Esme Prince as a troubled young college student. She’s so good at being bad that she has fans torn over her character, debating good vs. evil.
Reportedly, Pohl debuted as Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) boarding school girlfriend in August of 2021. Since then the actress has already signed an additional contact. Her first secured Avery plays Esme for a year. But once renewal time arrived GH upped Pohl’s contract and she signed a 3 year deal.
The current storyline makes fans wonder if Avery Kristen Pohl, Tabyana Ali, and/or Nicholas Alexander Chavez will exit General Hospital. Previously, news surrounding Chavez’s Netflix project confirmed that the Emmy winning actor is leaving General Hospital while he films his role as Lyle Menendez.

As it seems, GH fans have taken an instant liking to the two little guys who play Ace. Twins Joey and Jay joined General Hospital’s cast and become part of the GH family in February 2023. Ever since they have been a focal point of General Hospital, not just as baby Ace, but as themselves too!
