Since the early 1990s, trouble plagued the people of Port Charles when the mob families went to war. But prior to the modern day danger that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his organization bring, the Cassadine’s were the biggest threat.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Victor Cassadine’s agenda becomes much larger than anticipated. Initially, Victor’s main goal was to unite the entire Cassadine family. He’s a firm believer in the concept that there’s power in numbers. So, the more family members he can convince into his way of life, the more powerful they become as a united front.

GH recaps recall that Victor came to Port Charles on a quest to recruit Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and young Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). His attempt to unite the family began with his nephews. Victor was sure they’d see things his way. But their daily lives and significant others got in the way of his plan.

He gave up on Nikolas after his nephew’s poor choices went against Victor’s expectations. Now, his main focus is on Nikolas’s son Spencer. Despite warnings, Spencer looks up to Uncle Victor. He put his trust in him and believed he could help save his baby brother. Victor’s fixation is strong because baby Ace is a Cassadine heir. His mother, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is a dangerous criminal. She lied to and tortured Spencer and his family. But when she turned up pregnant with amnesia, she became a bigger threat than ever before. Allegedly, Nikolas is Ace’s father. However, some General Hospital rumors claim it will turn out that Spencer is Ace’s father. Therefore, Victor’s fixation on Esme’s baby is strong. He’s not going to give up without a fight.

General Hospital spoilers tease Port Charles is in an uproar after Victor’s body guard broke into Laura’s home and kidnapped Ace. Consequently, Laura came home to find Esme was knocked unconscious. Meanwhile, Spencer followed Victor’s instructions which he believed to be a reasonable plan. At the end of the day, Spencer’s main concern was his baby brother Ace. He wanted his uncle’s help to keep Esme from her baby.

Despite the Cassadine chaos, Charlotte is shielded from most. However, Uncle Victor’s reach sometimes get through even Valentin’s protection.

General Hospital news reports confirm Charlotte was introduced in 2016. The role was first played by Scarlett Fernandez. From then, the role was SORASed and inevitably recast. On December 21, 2021, Amelia McClain made her GH debut as Charlotte.

General Hospital recaps recall Valentin’s faked death. In order to help exonerate Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and distract his father, Valentin had to do what he had to do. So this year’s Nurses Ball and GH’s 60th anniversary bring Milo back to PC!

What an event the Nurses Ball has been thus far! The talent is as extraordinary as the entertainment numbers are nostalgic. It was so exciting to see Milo back and performing like the good old day!

Backstage, observant GH fans noticed a familiar face enter the dressing room. As Milo (Drew Cheetwood) spoke to Maxie, Drew’s real life daughter Grace gave a big thumbs up before exiting the dressing room. Over the last few years, BLQ’s been uber focused on her music career. Unfortunately, the energy and focus she’s put in isn’t going to voice lessons and choreography. Instead, she spends all her time maneuvering around the backstage politics of the music industry. Linc makes a habit of abusing his power. He uses his position to back artists into a corner. When it comes to sexual advances, he makes it clear they need to give the green light, or it’s lights out for their sparkling new lifestyle. From big name to no name, Linc threatens the women who reject his advances. And the kicker is, he’s getting away with it.

In addition to BLQ, rising artist, Blaze, has attested to Linc’s inappropriate behavior and how he threatened her career. General Hospital recaps recall Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) efforts to help artists reclaim their careers and put an ends to Linc for good. But the thought of losing her song catalog to that skeeze ball ended up becoming her weakness. She gave in and signed the Non Disclosure Agreement to keep Linc’s sexual harassment on the down low. Essentially, Brook Lynn’s selfish choice drove Chase further away. Now, enough is enough. She publicly outed Linc and he was arrested.

In Port Charles, one particular villain has reeked immense detriment over and over again throughout the years.

Every so often a random villain with an outlandish and sinister agenda enters Port Charles. Sometimes they work alone, other times there’s a mystery “boss,” and other times the villain blackmails an innocent citizen to aid in their plot. There are also times when the latest enemy has ties to someone. But the biggest threats and the most extreme danger typically come from one particular family.

As a mobster, surely Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) brings about violence and threats to the community. Countless mob wars and child snatchings, among other horrific crimes have taken place as a result of his business. However, the family that executes more acts of violence than the entire mob is the Cassadine family.

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is one tough cookie. The challenges she’s faced aren’t for the faint of heart. Prior to her life with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Willow was a lost soul. Between having been raised Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), and being brainwashed by the Dawn of Day cult, Willow’s survival skills developed naturally. She became stronger because of the hardships she faces. Thankfully, things began to turn around when she met some genuinely good people in Port Charles.

Fast forward and now she’s a mom of two and engaged to Michael. While her life has improved dramatically, that doesn’t mean she’s care-free. Currently, Willow deals with mama drama. Nina Reeves is the last person Willow ever wanted as her biological mother. But, we don’t get to choose our family. The added drama between Nina and Carly isn’t the best thing for Willow as she awaits her bone marrow transplant.

And at one point, Michael was dead set on joining the mob alongside his dad. Understandably, Sonny denied Michael’s interest. Now, Michael wants his father to pay for the crimes he’s committed as a mobster.

As General Hospital recaps recall, Michael kept this a secret from his fiancé. For the most part, Michael and Willow have a healthy, open and honest relationship. While it’s true she hid her illness from Michael, but her intentions and thought process was in the right place. GH fans know that Willow and Michael both mutually despise Sonny’s girlfriend Nina. Even prior to kidnapping Sonny, Willow and Nina were far from simpatico. Ironically, she just so happens to be Willow’s biological mother. As Wiley’s parents, they forbade Nina to be anywhere near their son. Therefore, since Willow and Michael’s sentiments about Sonny and Nina similarly align, there’s no way Michael can rationally justify keeping his plans from his fiancé.

If you think Victor is a dangerous piece of work, then you need a quick course in his predecessor, Helena Cassadine. According to General Hospital news reports, the role was originated by Elizabeth Taylor in 1981. The icon played Helena that year, but the role was recast in 1996 with actress Dimitri Arliss. Her stint as Helena was brief and Towers took over as head of the Cassadine sovereignty in 1997. From then on, Constance Towers became the recognizable face as the legendary Grandmother Cassadine.

According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Helena Cassadine returns to General Hospital for the 60th anniversary celebration. General Hospital comings and goings confirm the actress has filmed two episodes which will air around May 8th. Towers shared the news via Facebook.

Together, she and pal Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) brought Nikolas’s limp body to its hiding spot.

To their dismay, Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) search revealed to Ava and Austin that Nikolas had somehow gotten out of that locked door. Thankfully, Dante was none the wiser. Then, Ava and Austin scrambled to figure out how in the world a lifeless Nikolas could have escaped that locked room.

It’s unlikely that the Nurses Ball runs smoothly. With Victor on the prowl, a mob war brewing, and Willow’s transplant around the corner, the possibilities for disaster are endless. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Ava and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) get the shock of a lifetime when Nikolas returns during the Nurses Ball. Furthermore, Mason (Nathanyael Grey) has Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) at an undisclosed location. After Ava presumed him dead, Nikolas is actually alive and about to make an appearance.

General Hospital casting news reports have yet to confirm any recast for Nikolas Cassadine. In a shocking GH news revelation, it was previously confirmed that Marcus Coloma had been let go from his role. Coloma played the dark Prince, Nikolas Cassadine, for 3 years. When his contract was up, TPTB over at General Hospital did not negotiate a renewal.
