Reportedly, Emme Rylan will NOT return to GH as Lulu. Instead, the actress confirmed quite the opposite. Amidst the GH rumors surrounding Lulu and her inevitable recovery Emme Rylan made a statement unclear the air. Previously, Rylan disclosed that she was NOT asked to return.
According to the latest GH news, GH Casts All My Children’s Alexa Havins (Babe Carey) as the NuLulu.
Now that it’s all said and done, GH fans wonder why GH didn’t ask Emme to return to the role. As expected, General Hospital rumors began to circulate like a bad game of telephone. Often times facts get twisted, or information is fabricated altogether. In this case, GH news reports cannot confirm any specific reason for why TPTB overlooked Rylan. As a result, GH fans want answers from GH’s Casting Director Mark Teschner, and Executive Producer Frank Valentini. Addition, it’s possible that others share the responsibility for the situation.
GH Casts Alexa Havins As New Lulu Spencer! The wait is over and the mystery is solved. Finally, after years of wonder and speculation, General Hospital brings back a fan favorite character.
According to the latest General Hospital news and spoilers, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is about to awaken from her three and a half year slumber. A few months ago actress Emme Rylan spoke out on GH’s decision to recast the role. Rylan was the last to play Lulu, and many General Hospital fans expected her to make a comeback. For over three years, fans held out hope for Rylan’s General Hospital return as Lulu, but recent GH news slammed the door when they recast the role.
Previously, GH Blog reported on Emme Rylan’s statement. The beloved actress confirmed that ABC’s GH did not extend an invitation to reprise the role.
Meanwhile, General Hospital rumors had spread throughout social media and claimed that Julie Berman would return as the OG (SORASed) Lulu. According to more recent GH news reports, the sixty-two year old Soap Opera casts Alexa Havins as the NuLulu. Alexa is known for her role as Babe Carey on ABC’s All My Children. She played Carey from 2003-2007.

Sam Dies and Saves Lulu’s Life?! …Life really has a way of handing Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) some difficult life situations. Her daughter Lulu Spencer Falconeri has been in a coma for about four years and Laura has struggled with so much grief. GH spoilers tease that Laura’s luck could turn around now that Lulu has been transferred to General Hospital.
Will Sam Save Lulu’s Life?
According to recent General Hospital spoilers, Lulu’s liver is failing and she needs a transplant to survive. The devastating news hit Laura hard, but she’s not the only one who’s emotionally invested in Lulu. Despite having been divorced at the time of the tragic incident, Dante still cares very much for Lulu.
Earlier this week GH news reports confirmed that Kelly Monaco is set to exit General Hospital this coming Fall. As a resting of this news, GH rumors have spread across social media. Monaco’s exit is rumored to have a major impact on the current storyline involving Lulu. Apparently, Lulu needs a new liver or else she will die. Now that Sam will be written out of the script this Fall, GH rumors claim that Sam dies and saves Lulu’s life.
I Stand With Kelly Monaco! Can Fans Save Sam After GH Fires Kelly Monaco?
Oh, the devastation! Last week, General Hospital news reports struck the nerves of many fans. Unexpectedly, some unsettling news spread through the daytime television community. Evidently, TPTB thought it was fine to send a popular actress packing. Meanwhile, GH fans would never in a million years expect to see Kelly Monaco exit General Hospital. Unfortunately, General Hospital news broke, and reports that Kelly Monaco was let go from the daytime drama caused chaos within the fan community.
General Hospital fans have done it before and we can do it again! Banning together worked for Rebecca. So why can’t it work for Kelly? Show your support with these incredible designs!
Reportedly, GH fans recognize that this isn’t the first time an actor was unjustifiably axed just to have fans rally in support of their return. Back in 2011, General Hospital a fan-favorite was unexpectedly let go from the Soap Opera. Rebecca Herbst began portraying Elizabeth Webber in 1997. And in her 14th year the executives decided to fire the actress. That’s when General Hospital fans rallied together in support of the actress, demanding an immediate reversal to her firing. Thankfully, their efforts proved effective, and Herbst’s job was saved.
Now that the damage is done, we can only hope that history repeats itself. Although GH has fired Kelly Monaco, all hope is not lost. Just as GH fans came together to save Rebecca Herbst’s job as Elizabeth Webber, the same goes for Monaco. Rebecca’s outcome gives fan’s faith that their support can turn this atrocity around.
How Will Sam Leave General Hospital?! …Kelly Monaco joined General Hospital’s iconic cast back in 2003. Although she brought a new role to General Hospital, Monaco wasn’t a stranger to Port Charles. Prior to becoming Sam McCall, the Playboy model/television actress played Livvie Locke from 1999-2003 on ABC’s GH spinoff called Port Charles.
Today, the 48 year old talented beauty is just under two months shy of 21 year as Samantha McCall (Morgan). Kelly’s extreme popularity as Daytime TV’s Mob Princess/P. I. has GH fans scratching their heads at the latest General Hospital news.
According to GH comings and goings, Kelly Monaco’s shocking exit has sparked outrage among fans.
There is no doubt that General Hospital will not be the same without fan-favorited actress, Kelly Monaco. Sadly, we’ve all lost a favorite actor/character over the course of the shows 61 years. Sometimes we get lucky and they come back to life Soap Opera style. Unfortunately, there are times when what’s lost is lost, and our favorite character stays buried. At this time, GH news and spoilers indicate the reason for Monaco’s exit remains unreported.

Kelly Monaco Exits General Hospital
According to the latest General Hospital news and spoilers, General Hospital is said to be writing Kelly Monaco’s role as Sam Morgan out of the script. No, this devastating piece of GH does not refer to her most recent and temporary exit. General Hospital rumors first circulated about her exit, making claims that Sam would be killed off this coming Fall.
However, GH news reports indicate that the details of Kelly Monaco’s General Hospital exit remain unclear. According to reputable GH news reports, Michael Fairman touches on Lulu’s return to the canvas. The complex nature of Dante’s relationship worry Sam and his ex wife Lulu raise questions.
Did GH Choose Lulu Over Sam?
General Hospital news reports confirm that Lulu has returned to the canvas. But fans now wonder ant what cost? Reportedly, GH comings and goings confirm that Emme Rylan confirmed the role has been recast.
As the Mayor of Port Charles, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is involved in many pressing issues throughout the city. Additionally, Mayor Collins is first a Mother and wife. Her personal life also has its fair share of acute matters, and family comes first. Sometimes, Laura’s Mayoral obligations become entangled in her personal life. For example, Mayor Collins is dedicated to the safety on the streets of Port Charles. Mob violence is a recurring problem, and Laura aims to work alongside the PCPD towards their common goals. Sadly, Laura’s worlds collided when mob violence struck and put her daughter Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) in a coma. Furthermore, it wasn’t just any old mob attack. The attack was perpetrated by Laura’s own brother, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Laura and Dante Check On Lulu
General Hospital spoilers and previews suggest that Laura turns to Dante after she receives an unexpected phone call. Apparently, something is going on with Lulu. Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) ex-wife has been in a coma since December of 2020. Since then, Officer Falconeri’s life has changed in the biggest ways. Despite their epic love story, Dante and Lulu split. But GH recaps recall that Lulu was about to tell Dante how she felt right before the tragic incident. Some Lante fans believe that Lulu and Dante would have made their way back to one another after she broke things off with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson). However, these last four years have brought Dante closer to another woman. In fact, he and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) have a strong relationship and co-parent their children together in one home.
According to General Hospital previews, Laura tells Dante about Lulu, and the two take the necessary next steps to check up on Lulu. GH rumors hint that Sam and Dante are headed for troubled waters when his ex-wife awakens from a coma.

General Hospital Writes Blaze OUT! Alison “Blaze” Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) met and quickly hit it off. They simply clicked like a seatbelt fastening into the buckle. Despite having come from different worlds, the pop star and the mobster’s daughter really hit it off.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Kristina and Blaze broke up despite how far they’ve come. They became fast friends and lovers although they had to work through several obstacles. Sadly, the timing of Kristina’s tragic fall, q and Blaze’s once in a lifetime opportunity put an axe to their growing relationship.
General Hospital news reports confirm that Alison Blaze Rogers was written out of the script (at least for now). GH recaps recall that Kristina took the selfless route and encourage Blaze to take this opportunity to advance her career. Of course, Blaze’s MOMager had a lot to do with Kristina’s success
The mobster’s daughter continues to recover after she lost the baby she carried for Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Meanwhile, Blaze leaves to go on tour. Did Kristina push Blaze away forever, or will she return to reclaim their love once the tour is over?
First things first. Would you continue to watch General Hospital if 1) Maurice Benard left and the role of Sonny Corinthos was written off, or 2) Maurice left and Sonny was recast? Do either of those options sound viable for you to tune in to the 61 year old daytime drama?
General Hospital news and spoilers report that Benard has taken to Instagram to make an impactful announce. In a recent post, General Hospital’s lead actor cleared the air on his recent departure from the soap opera.
According to recent GH news reports, Maurice Benard exits General Hospital. But don’t worry, it is only temporary. Benard disclosed that he’s recently struggled with a mental health crisis. It began after his wife Paula and son Joshua left for a trip to Europe.
Sadly, Benard has recently struggled with a mental health crisis and took to social media to explain some important news. In the video below, Maurice shares details of his GH exit with his fans. First, let’s avoid any panic by stating that his departure is only temporary (thank God). Secondly, the two week hiatus almost called for a recast. The daytime Emmy winner explains how Sonny Corinthos could have been recast if his GH hiatus extended any longer than the two weeks that he was away form the canvas. Benard discloses in detail how he and Executive Producer Frank Valentini worked through this challenge.
Our thoughts and prayers are always with Maurice and his family as his navigates through mental illness. GH would never be the same without our main man! Thankfully, his exit is only temporary. ❤️
Over the years the streets of Port Charles have become more dangerous as Sonny’s enemies continue to fight for his territory. Because of this, it’s quite obvious that mob violence is a recurring problem in Port Charles. History tells us that innocent lives are at risk at any given moment. There’s no telling who is next to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Clearly, everyone is fair game.
Previously, the Mayor’s daughter even fell victim to a mob hit. Sadly, she became collateral damage when Cyrus ordered Julian Jerome (William deVry) to plant a bomb at The Floating Rib. GH recaps recall that’s when Lulu’s uncle Cyrus (Jeff Kober) was involved in her tragic accident. Yes, Mayor Laura Spencer Collins’s (Genie Francis) daughter was tragically injured because of Cyrus. Lives were forever changed after the Floating Rib explosion.
The Floating Rib Explosion December, 2020
GH history reports confirm that fan-favorite Julie Berman (40) took over in 2005. She stepped in after child actor Tessa Allen was cast as Lulu Spencer. Berman went on to portray Luke and Laura’s daughter until 2013. That’s when the role was recast with Emme Rylan. Today, GH Executives have closed the door on Rylan’s hopeful return to GH.
According to GH news, Emme Rylan is OUT at General Hospital! So, who was hired to play the new Lulu Spencer recast?! GH history reports recall that Lesly Lu Spencer was born on August 8th, 1994. She was born to the legendary couple, Luke and Laura Spencer. Lulu’s older brother Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) is the couple’s first born. Despite having been born in 1994, the character of Lulu was SORASed.
General Hospital Comings And Goings: New Lulu Recast
