Cynthia Watros is good at playing a part where half the audience wants to see her suffer while the others feel she has been the victim.
It hasn’t been easy playing the part of Nina Reeves on ABC’s General Hospital, especially lately. General Hospital news and spoilers reveal the actors on the front burner of this storyline have been receiving backlash. Maurice Benard has had to defend his character, Sonny Corinthos, as Cynthia has had to defend herself as Nina Reeves as well. Majority of fans feel for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), victimizing her while putting the blame on Nina and Sonny.
In a recent interview, Cynthia Watros opened up about the current role she’s playing. General Hospital spoilers suggest that tensions run high in the court room as the battle for Wiley Corinthos gets heated. The hearing is right around the corner and Sonny has offered to testify on her behalf. Nina doesn’t want to overstep, as she knows how difficult things have been for Sonny and his family. Watros explains how Nina feels. She explains, “She’s very touched, but she knows how difficult this is, not only on Sonny, but for everybody. I mean, she can be mad at Carly and Michael and Willow and still feel like, ‘Wow this is challenging for everybody,’ and still have that compassion. She’s not evil. All she wants is to have a relationship with her grandson, and none of what she’s done in her life makes her less of an amazing grandmother. It’s a good feeling [to have Sonny’s support]. But she also feels sorry it has to come to this. She didn’t want to go to court! She didn’t want to drag everybody into this courtroom and unpack everyone’s dirty laundry. But she felt like this was the only thing that she could do. And I don’t think she wants to be the reason why the bridge that connects the son and the father is burned. She’s like, ‘Sonny, you don’t have to do this. I want you to really think about going back home. You don’t have to be here. You don’t have to be here.’ But he’s a grown man. It’s his decision. No way Nina can force Sonny to do anything, let alone testify in her behalf!”
General Hospital news and spoilers suggest the visitation battle for Wiley takes some wild turns in the courtroom. Watros admits she feels awful for the way she has to treat Katey [MacMullen, as Willow] but also enjoys it because it brings that daytime drama to the screen.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is in the middle of it all, more than Nina even knows. What she learned from Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) is weighing on her because she wants to protect Willow. She also wants to make sure Harmony’s words was the truth. Telling Willow about Nina prematurely could be disastrous.
The children of General Hospital bring light and joy to an sometimes otherwise dark and adult setting. Many times the kids of major GH families remain off screen and unseen by the audience. I’m Jophielle’s case, she brings Violet Finn to life and in turn she brings life to the set of General Hospital.
General Hospital Blog would like to give a shout out to this amazingly talented young actress.
On top of being a major part of this iconic daytime drama, Jophielle is also musically inclined. She plays the ukulele, and to quote a recent Instagram post, Love says, “My uke and I… together we express so many feelings! ❤️????” Following up her caption with the following hashtags: #uke #ukelele #songwriter #songwriting #risingstar #youngsinger #popstar #singing
General Hospital spoilers and rumors reveal Jophielle will continue to shine as Violet Finn, becoming even more a part of the soaps daily storylines. She has reverently been added to the beginning credits and has been spending more time on screen with the big players if Port Charles, working alongside TV Dad, Michael Easton as Finn, Rebecca Herbst as Elizabeth Webber, Josh Swickard as Harrison Chase, and more. We look forward to seeing Jophielle exercising all aspects of her talents! She’s truly a rising star!
General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahn has been away from the canvas for a few weeks as she had been recovering from a medical procedure.
Nancy’s replacement, Stephanie Erb stepped in at the most crucial time when Alexis Davis found out that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) killed Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan). GH fans, although aware of the temporary recast, were not prepared for Stephanie’s version of Alexis at that pivotal point.
General Hospital news reports confirm Nancy has taken to Twitter to announce that she may be having to take time away from filming yet again. She recently shared that her daughter, Kate Grahn, was working at a top restaurant in LA and caught Covid. She went on to point fingers at “inconvenienced Americans.”
General Hospital spoilers reveal Grahn admits she may be needed a replacement in the near future, and followed up her tweet by stating that her employer, Disney, is having her rapid tested for the next 5 days. She goes on to express her gratitude for Disney, stating that she feels safest while at work due to their diligent Covid protocols.
MY daughter was ONLY server @ top restaurant in LA to continue wearing mask when every other server & patron did not. She just hugged me & then tested positive 4 Covid. So good on u inconvenienced Americans who don't follow science. Good chance u'll see my replacement soon on #gh
The good news is I reported this to Disney Covid team and they immediately contacted me and I’m being rapid tested for next 5 days. @DisneyStudios rocks!
Yesterday, General Hospital Blog reported that General Hospital star Kelly Monaco’s house caught fire. Today, the actress has taken to media with updates on this recent tragedy.
General Hospital news reports confirm that Monaco has announced that her home has burned down after someone flicked a lit cigarette on her property nearby.
General Hospital spoilers and updates share photos of the disaster as firefighters work tirelessly to put out the blaze. Unfortunately, most of Monaco’s home was destroyed in the fire, leading her to reveal that she will not be able to return to her home for quite some time.
In a video taken by Kelly, she can be heard saying, “This is how it started. Isn’t this crazy?”
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) looks like he’s turned himself into a simp for his son’s girlfriend, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Basically tossing his wife, Ava Jerome (Maura West) to the wayside for the likes of that girl.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava and Nikolas grow further apart while he continues to not only allow Esme to live in their home, but to trust and stand by her side after everything he knows she has done.
General Hospital rumors suggest that Nikolas’s bond with Esme is a necessary evil. Although it looks as if Nikolas is being manipulated by Esme, and even cools possibly end up sleeping with his son’s girlfriend, GH fans hope it won’t get that far. Recent General Hospital rumors and spoilers claim that Nikolas is actually playing Esme, leading her to believe that she’s succeeding at her game.
General Hospital recaps highlight a conversation between Nikolas and Ava where he made it a point to tell Ava to trust him. General Hospital spoilers then developed, making claims that Nikolas has something ip his sleeve. Nikolas could be playing Esme and just isn’t at liberty to tell anyone in fear that his plan to trap Esme will fail. Little does he know, his son Spencer is doing the same. Perhaps Nik’s strategy is a necessary evil for the time being. But will Ava understand after it all unfolds?
No one has to pretend that Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) has been mother of the year material. She will be the first to admit that she wasn’t really there for her girls, Mariah Maximiliana Jones (Kirsten Storm) and the late Georgie Jones (Lindze Letherman).
Felicia Jones was off on adventure, being pulled into many directions with Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner), along with their inner circle of WSB investigators and thrill seekers. At some point, Felicia spent time in Texas taking care of her Grandmother.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) last obsession with Felicia will be the key element to an upcoming revelation. Through his obsession with Felicia, Ryan took her hostage but she was able to escape. Details of the extent of abuses Felicia suffered from Ryan remain unknown.
Recent General Hospital rumors claim Felicia’s bout of baby fever will be the clue to tying together a possible storyline involving Felicia having another child.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Esme has siblings, which leads GH fans to a new theory. GH rumors hint that the identity of Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) will turn Port Charles upside down. Esme seems to be the apple that didn’t fall far from the tree as she is so much like her father, Ryan. But is her psycho behavior inherited from her paternal side, or does she simply want to feel important in her dad’s eyes?
If Felicia turns out to be Esme’s mother, will she be the determining factor in how Esme chooses to live her life? Will she follow in daddy’s footsteps and continue on with this dark path, or will she aspire to like her mother and sisters, Maxie and Georgie?
ABC’s General Hospital is full of intense drama. Summer is approaching and things are about to heat up.
General Hospital news reports reveal, just yesterday, Executive Producer, Frank Valentini tweeted that Kelly Monaco “is on fire today,” referring to her performance as Sam McCall. However recent GH news and spoilers report a very real fire at the daytime star’s home.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Twitter is busy with fans discussing a recent incident involving a lit cigarette on Monaco’s lawn. It has been rumored that a man threw a lit cigarette on Kelly’s lawn with ignited a fire at her home.
General Hospital fans took to Twitter to announce that Kelly is okay, but her house is not.
Our girl is okay. That’s all matters to me. House can be rebuilt. Shit is scary. This is the exact way my aunt and uncle’s house caught fire a cigarette butt near their house. So glad she is okay. Much love to Kelly right now. #gh
General Hospital news and rumors indicate the two time Daytime Emmy nominated actress is doing well, although GH spoilers indicate her house has been burned down. General Hospital Blog will keep fans up to date on any developing or differing information regarding Kelly Monaco‘a house fire.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) found herself in the middle of the Ashford family drama involving Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), his father, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).
General Hospital spoilers reveal Jordan is wondering if TJ has been in contact with anyone in Port Charles. After Curtis tan Marshall out of town, TJ and Curtis couldn’t see eye to eye on the situation.
General Hospital previews and spoilers reveal TJ is determined to get to the bottom of Marshall’s story, first by finding his grandfather.
GH spoilers indicate that Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ’s trip to NYC will open some doors to new revelations.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) prepares for war against his own son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). But not all family has turned on Sonny. His cousin Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) has always had his back.
Brando had left the mob life to start a family with his wife, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and their son, Liam. After Liam’s unfortunately death, the couple remained on the same page regarding Brando and Sonny’s organization. Brando wasn’t going back to the mob. Sasha made her stance against Brando working for Sonny very clear.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny’s war with Michael will lead to Brando’s inevitable involvement in the business, which goes against what he and Sasha discussed.
Meanwhile, Sasha is dealing with her own crisis, trying to hide her drug use from the public eye and even from Brando. General Hospital rumors suggest that Brando gets distracted with hiding his own secret from Sasha, as Gladys tries to take care of Sasha’s situation on her own.
The walls are closing in on Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as it’s getting harder and harder to keep her secret from Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and the rest of her loved ones. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) came to her rescue when she swiped the memory card, but that was before she knew about the nature of the incriminating pics.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha is in the hot seat now that Gladys had a conversation with Smoltz (David Lautman). She made the deal with the slimy reporter and was able to get the photos deleted, but not before she saw exactly what was happening in them.
General Hospital previews and spoilers indicate that Gladys begs Sasha to come clean while she continues to try to conceal her habit. Gladys calls her out and she is put on the spot to come clean. Sasha doesn’t want Brando to know that she had fallen back into using drugs as a coping mechanism for her grief and stress.
General Hospital rumors hint that Gladys will hold the power in her hands on what comes next for Sasha. Will she keep her secret or will Gladys tell her son Brando what’s going on so that Sasha can get the help she needs?
