General Hospital news reports confirm that GH has been nominated for 21 Daytime Emmy Awards this year. It’s no surprise that Maurice Benard and Steve Burton are among that list as the iconic duo, Sonny Corinthos and Jason Morgan.
Maurice is always playing around with his cast mates, having fun at their expense.

Earlier this morning, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences revealed a limited list of the 2021 Daytime Emmy Awards nominations. Those nominations include three or General Hospital’s leading ladies.

Maxie and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) have a long history of love and companionship. They know each other better than anyone knows them, and have been to Hell and back together. Nikolas is the one responsible for hiring a hit man to take out Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), and at first Shawn truly believed it was his bullet that hit her. While Nikolas truly does want to protect Alexis, he also wants to protect himself and his secret. Shawn has taken Alexis Davis’ advice and is fighting for his freedom. Once Shawn is proven innocent, the PCPD will be all over the case to find out who actually shot/had someone shoot Hayden. The truth will point right in Nik’s direction.

In a podcast episode of, That’s Awesome! with future co-stars, Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson, “I’m up in Canada,” Cameron continued, “I’m about to shoot a Hallmark movie. I’ll be back in early June.” Steve Burton asked Mathison some questions about the details of his new role. When questioned about his start date, Mathison revealed that he didn’t know much fan’s burning questions. He told Burton, “I’m trying to figure that all out,” I knew zero. I didn’t even know character name. I’m not even kidding. Zero until two days ago. Two days ago I found out some information. I can’t tell you. I’m very excited.”
