Due to the fact that she and [now ex-] husband hadn’t publicized their split, GH fans didn’t hesitate to send congratulations to Steve, Sheree, and their children. Sadly, reactions rapidly morphed when General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) addressed Sheree’s announcement.

Unbeknownst to Steve’s fans, he and his wife of 23 years split. Sheree’s announcement threw off fans, as it was assumed the baby was an addition to the Burton family. Steve, Sheree, and their children, Brooklyn, Makena, and Jack, seemed picture perfect. It wasn’t until Steve cleared the air regarding Sheree’s pregnancy that the long time couple revealed their split. Shared promptly by General Hospital Blog, the truth about Sheree’s pregnancy came to light. Burton explained that Sheree’s 4th baby was not his. The two had quietly spilt, which lead to confusion around the baby announcement drama.

In a recent Instagram post, her 4th child, a daughter, is revealed for the first time. In the post description, Sheree addressed having a baby in her 40s. Since this isn’t her first rodeo, the mom of 4 enters this new chapter with wisdom.

As General Hospital recaps recall, Ryan’s obsession with Ava had her looking over her shoulder for years. After all, he is the reason her marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) is over. Now that he’s truly gone, she can rest assured that Ryan won’t harm her or anyone she loves again. But safety and peace of mind aren’t all why she’s particularly relieved. In a vulnerable state, Ava confessed to killing Nikolas to Ryan. Now that he’s gone, her secret stays safe between herself and Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth).

Nikolas could expose Ava for attempted murder. However, things could be worse. On the bright side, if Nik is alive, she can’t go down for killing him. But, attempted murder isn’t off the table.

At any given point, Ryan could strike and his innocent victims pay the price. And before Ava, there was Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner).

Is Nikolas really dead? It feels wrong for the writers to have killed off such an iconic character, let alone a staple in one of the main General Hospital families. Stavros, Helena, and the other elder’s legacy lives on in the younger Cassadines. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) should live on to carry that legacy.

General Hospital spoilers reveal things are not exactly as it seems when it comes to the Cassadine family. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has been working toward complete control. His desires to unite his family come with hard work. Victor’s methods to bring his family together knows no bounds as he stops at nothing to achieve his ultimate goal. That being said, there is nothing Uncle Victor won’t do to get what he wants.

Observant General Hospital fans vocalized their dislike for Nik’s new persobality. Surely, Nikolas was always “The Dark Prince,” but, he was never this stupid; or sloppy. Sleeping with his son’s girlfriend, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), is only one of the recent red flags from Nik’s downward spiral.
