General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Can’t Believe What Brook Lynn Has To Say

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had no other choice other than to trust Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to care for and protect her brand new baby daughter. Louise’s life was at risk and the threat was her own father, Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Maxie knew that as long as Peter was still breathing, she and Louise would never be safe.

General Hospital rumors have suggested Maxie’s plan could blow up in her face. She and Brook Lynn were never the best of friends, and Brook Lynn always had her own agenda up her sleeve. This time, her scheme to get ELQ shares back from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) fell right into Maxie’s need to hide her baby.

General General Hospital peeves show Maxie and Brook Lynn having a heated discussion, and Maxie couldn’t believe her ears. She asked Brook Lynn, “Did I just hear what I think I heard?,” as if Brook Lynn made a comment directly out of left field.

Not even Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) knows the truth behind Peter’s sudden disappearance. Since everyone still believes baby Louise is actually Bailey, daughter of Brook Lynn and Valentin, Maxie it at a loss.

The only two people who know what really happened to Peter are Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), and until Maxie knows Peter is dead, she will have to play along with Brook Lynn’s scheme.

General Hospital rumors claim that Brook Lynn will end up making things very difficult for an already grieving Maxie. Rumor has it, she won’t want to return Louise to her mother, and you can guess what type of mess that will create. It’s possible w will put an end to this, exposing Brook Lynn’s scheme over Valentin and the Quartermaine family if she pushes Maxie too far.

General Hospital News: Genie Francis Defends Friend After Maurice Benard Clears The Air On Misconstrued Emmy Speech

Last Friday, June 25th, 2021, The 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards took place at 8PM, on CBS.

General Hospital news reports happily announced GH took home some major category wins, including, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Maurice Benard made his fans, family, cast and crew proud when he claimed the award. Just like most winners, Benard accepted the award with an acceptance speech. However, some fans have taken his words and turned them into something they are not.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Benard has had to clear the air regarding the misconstrued content of his speech. After fans claimed he had referred to himself as, “the star of the show,” co-star, Genie Francis discloses she was approached by her dear friend with something to get off his chest.

In the tweet below, Genie explains how Maurice came to her with his concerns about the situation, explaining how true intentions behind his acceptance speech.

Fans of Benard also came to his defense and the replied to Genie’s tweet came pouring on Twitter timelines.
