Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) hasn’t been himself since his slip and fall accident at the Metro Court pool. In fact, he doesn’t remember his life as Ned. To top it off, he doesn’t really care. Well, he really until now.

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) can’t help but to worry. After all it’s in her nature. At first Olivia couldn’t accept that Ned was gone despite him standing there in the flesh. On the outside, Ned was a living, breathing, walking, talking version of the man Olivia married. But don’t make the same mistake as Olivia and assume that he’s the same man as he once was. Oh no, he’s not the man Olivia knows and loves. However, it didn’t take too long before she started to come around. GH recaps recall the day in the recording studio with Eddie Maine, Olivia, and little Leo (Easton Rocket Sweda). That’s when things began to change for Olivia, and she started to appreciate Eddie.

General Hospital spoilers tease that just as Liv was embracing the change, Eddie takes drastic measures to remember the past. There’s no doubt that Ned/Eddie’s conversation with his ex-wife, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) influenced him and his curiosity. Thats when Eddie decided to search within himself for answers.

But, perhaps Tracy was right for another reason.

Obviously, Spencer is upset because he doesn’t want Esme and Ace to move out. As much as he says it’s because of Ace, how much of his feelings include Esme? Maybe more than we think.

The average everyday viewer became concerned about what this all means for their favorite shows. Then, the actor’s followed suit! Leading to the Actor’s strike.

People started asking questions about the strike and the potential impact. The strike impacts writers and their corresponding applications. For instance, General Hospital and other network Soap Operas film differently than other genres. Daytime dramas are fast-paced and high energy. Therefore, their aggressive pace sets Soap Operas weeks ahead of airing. But even with the grace period, General Hospital’s writers material ran out and that’s when alternative writer’s stepped in.

SAG AFTRA Reports Writer’s and Actor’s Strikes Are Over

After 6 long months, General Hospital news reports confirmed that The Writer’s Strike is officially over. Finally, an agreement has been made between the WGA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). The official SAG•AFTRA Instagram account announced that the picket locations are closed, and the strike is officially suspended as of 12:01am on November 9th.

Thankfully, the worst is over regarding the 6 month old strike. And we no longer need to worry about what might happen if ratings decline during this delicate time. First, Adam got caught up in the viral revenge porn video that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and sent out to the entire campus. The nature of the video fueled its viral status, and also ignited something in Adam. That’s when he made his misogynistic comments to Josslyn about her and Cameron’s sex video. At the time, he didn’t know that it was unintentional and that it was deemed revenge porn. Then, Josslyn explained that she was indeed a victim, and from then on she and Adam became friends.

Devastation and loss seem to have come in surplus lately as the General Hospital community suffers great heartache. From Sonya Eddy to Jackie Zeman, Billy Miller to Tyler Christopher- and more in between, it’s undoubtedly been a hard year.

According to General Hospital news reports, sadness continues to loom over the GH community. Just 6 short days after Tyler Christopher’s death, another loss hits close to home. For General Hospital star Eden McCoy, everyone else’s “close to home,” is her actual home. Sadly, Eden McCoy mourns her mother’s death.

GH news and spoilers reveal that Eden became very vulnerable in her public, emotional message. The young star shared the news via Instagram, which she referred to as, “the most impersonal space.” Her post contains a picture of her mother, along with another picture consisting of Eden and her parents.

Eden’s touching message not only displays her pure love for her mom, but she also puts things into perspective. I can somewhat relate to Eden as she grieves for her mother. When I was pregnant with my first child, my mom passed away suddenly. As it turns it, she had Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and she died within two days of going to the ER. Although not all situations are the same, the pain of losing a mother is uniform. According to Eden’s post, her mom suffered a two and half year battle with cancer. No matter how you look at it, losing a mother hits different regardless of how it happened.

How much pain and agony can Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) face? It seems like many of us focus on the hardship of certain characters while overlooking those of others. I’m not sure of that’s totally true in this case, but from what I’ve witnessed, it could.

Undeniably, General Hospital fans went crazy over everything Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) went through. Gladys and Dr. Montague’s stunt was the last straw as fans demanded justice for Sasha. She’d suffered to major human losses, and lost her own freedoms while entrusting it to Gladys. As if that wasn’t enough, then her own mother-in-law sold her dead husband’s garage from under her nose. Naturally, Gladys Corbin has to pay off her gambling debts somehow. So, why not sell what belonged to Brando (Johnny Wactor)? That’s just how Greedy Gladys thinks. Next, she stole Sasha’s money to pay off even more, and hired a creepy doctor to keep her drugged and unfit to look over her own finances. Sadly, this scheme almost kicked Sasha, but Cody (Josh Kelly) and crew print into action, and you know the rest.

If we go back in time, it’s clear that Sasha isn’t the only damsel who has been distressed beyond the norm. Laura Spencer, among others, carry that reputation as well. However, as the years go on, Laura continues to feel loss and heartache. Not to mention she was also held captive in her day.
