Mayor Laura Spencer Collins has been through more in her life than the average grandmother. The adventures of her youth shaped Laura into the wife, mother, and grandmother that she is today. These days, a day in the life looks much different for Mrs. Collin’s than it did back when she was a Webber wrapped up in Luke’s world.
General Hospital recaps remind GH fans of Laura’s recent losses. In the matter of a short time, Mayor Collin has experienced great loss and tragedy in her life. Most recently, she lost her grandson. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) were interrupted when his crazy ex-girlfriend Esme welcomed herself aboard on the ship to Paris.
Unexpectedly, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) popped up and that’s when Spencer and Esme fell into the water. Laura receive the devastating news that baby Ace (Jay and Joey Clay) had lost his mom and his big brother. But prior to losing her grandson, Laura’s son Nikolas went missing.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) was the source of Laura’s most recent stress. Sadly, his choices led to many of the unfortunate incidents within Laura’s immediate family.
Laura now lives in Port Charles as her daughter Lulu (Emme Rylan) lies in a coma. Furthermore, her son Lucky is not even in the same country, Nikolas is still out there somewhere, and Spencer is presumed dead.
According to the latest General Hospital news, Jonathan Jackson is set to return as Lucky Spencer. Finally, Laura can breathe easier now that her son Lucky is home.
General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher joined the cast in 1996. His role quickly became a lead character as Jasper “Jax” Jack’s popularity soared. Over the years Jax as been front and center, and the love interest of many fellow leading characters.
Previous General Hospital news reports confirmed that Ingo Rademacher filed a lawsuit against ABC/Disney. This came after having been let go from his 21 year run on GH. His former employer enforced a vaccine mandate which Rademacher declined to receive. Therefore, he was let go from his role as Jax on Disney/ABC’s General Hospital.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Ingo announced new details regarding his Disney case. His recent Instagram post reveals that his case will visits court this upcoming August.
“We have oral arguments scheduled in appellate court for early August for my case against Disney.”
Will GH Kill Off Jax?
Rademacher took to social media to openly express his grievances with ABC and Disney. That said, GH rumors tease that Ingo will most likely not return to the daytime drama due to conflict stemming from his 2021 GH exit.
Moreover, GH recaps recall that Jax left Port Charles in November of 2021 with no inclination toward a return. It’s possible that Jax will stay in Australia for the foreseeable future. But GH rumors speculate that the role will be killed off as opposed to recast.
Tony Geary retired from General Hospital in 2015. The then 66 year old actor ended his acting career after a 46 year run as an American icon.
Tony left a legacy as General Hospital’s Lucas Lorenzo Spencer. Although Geary left the show in 2015, Luke’s death was a more recent tragedy, and came as a shock to fans as well as Tony’s co-stars and their GH roles.
According to General Hospital recaps, Tracy announced Luke’s untimely death on the beginning of 2022. Despite having retired in 2015, Geary’s character Luke Spencer died in a cable car accident in Austria in 2015.
Lately, friends of the retired icon Tony Geary have taken trips to visit their friend in Amsterdam. After his retirement, the 77 year old General Hospital vet moved to Amsterdam and lives with his husband, Claudio Gama.
Previously, General Hospital news and spoilers revealed that GH star Kelly Monaco visited Geary and Gama. Monaco shared photos of her trip on Instagram, showcasing her time spent with her dear friend Tony.
Later, GH star Finola Hughes revealed that she took a trip to visit her former co-Star. According to General Hospital news, another GH vet reunited with Geary and Hughes in Amsterdam. Anders Hove popped up in a photo with Hughes. Reportedly, Geary’s husband Claudio shared a photo oh himself with both Hughes and Hove on Finola’s last day in Amsterdam.
Undoubtedly, Tony Geary formed lasting friendships with the co-stars on ABC’s General Hospital. These friendships have stood the test of time and continue as the years pass.
General Hospital fans are shocked and appalled after Willow and Drew shared a kiss on the Fourth Of July. Some say that this is their most hated story line in years. On the contrary, some can’t get enough of the characteristically soapy drama.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Sasha has the dirt on her once best friend, Willow. It’s safe to say that Drew Cain and Mrs. Corinthos’s situation will require all the sudsy lather that Quartermaine money can buy. God knows she’s gonna need it after that liplock with Drew.
The latest General Hospital spoilers and previews reveal that Willow comes clean to Nina about Drew. From the looks of things, Willow’s confession sets Nina off and she goes after Drew. But will mama bear be just as furious with her precious little cheating flower of a daughter as she is with Drew? After all, Willow is a married woman.
Moreover, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) won’t take the news lightly either. But she’s not mad or jealous because she’s so over Drew anyways. GH rumors yeast that Carly is disgusted with Drew. And what about Michael? How will he take the news when he learns that Drew and his wife kissed?
Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had finally come to terms with her battle with Huntington’s Disease. Also, she was coping with the loss of her love interest, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Furthermore, Dr. Westbourne and her mother were closer than ever.
GH recaps recall that Britt and Jason were well on their way to becoming a fan-favorite phenomenon when Burton was let go from the ABC Soap Opera. It took a bit for Dr. Westbourne to cope with his loss, but she was making progress. Then, Britt died tragically and inadvertently as one of the hook killer’s victims. That’s when Thiebaud announced that she was moving to London.
General Hospital news reports confirm that Thiebaud left the daytime drama series in the beginning of 2023. That’s when shortly after, ABC announced Steve Burton’s shocking exit.
Is Kelly Thiebaud Returning To General Hospital
Well, there’s no denying that GH fans received their most desired with when General Hospital brought Steve Burton back to the canvas. Now, general Hospital spoilers indicate that Kelly Thiebaud could live out the same fate. Will Kelly return to GH as Dr. Britt Westbourne? Recent GH news and spoilers indicate that Thiebaud dropped a hint on Instagram.
According to a recent IG comment, Kelly tells her fans that she has tried to return to General Hospital. At this time it’s unclear whether she was told yes, no, or not now. But “I tried” sounds like Thiebaud approached GH Executives and may have been turned down (for now). Despite the fact that we saw Britt die in her mother’s arms, it’s not uncommon for characters to Soap Opera characters to return from the dead.
Was Britt’s death too concrete to ever bring this character back?
Mayor Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) went down the road less traveled. She doesn’t have many supporters now that she is advocating for Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) freedom.
According to the latest General Hospital previews, Genie Francis shares the screen with Alley Mills when Laura pays Heather a visit. Port Charles is upon arms over the Mayor’s decision to pursue Heather’s metallosis as a way vindicate her from her past crimes. Understandably, Portia Robinson is Laura’s strongest protester because of Heather Webber’s threat to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Dr. Robinson can’t fathom how Laura could possibly believe that Heather deserves an excuse for what she’s done to so many.
Laura Spencer Regrets Helping Heather
General Hospital spoilers and previews tease that Laura pays Heather a visit. They’ll discuss Heather’s metallosis and her potential freedom. For the most part, the city of Port Charles doesn’t want to see Heather go free. Laura is risking her career as Mayor, sticking her neck out for a murderer.
Will Laura risk her career, as well as her relationships as she takes the nexts steps toward Heather Webber’s freedom? Whether or not Heather knew what she was doing, she still committed heinous crimes. At best, I think she should get to plead insanity. However, setting Heather free is a recipe for disaster.
Ever since his departure in 2018, General Hospital fans have anticipated Bryan Craig’s return. Craig played Morgan Corinthos, son of Port Charles’s mob boss.
The role of Sonny and Carly’s son was prevalent throughout the early 2000s. Morgan grew up to be a lot like dear old dad, having bipolar disorder and all. Also, they have similar taste in women. Ava Jerome (Maura West) is proof of that.
Recently, General Hospital rumors teased that Bryan Craig was on his way back to GH. The actor had dropped a couple of hints on various social media platforms. Of course, GH Blog shared the the latest with fans. Check out the article below to see why Maurice Benard and Bryan Craig are up to!

Sonny Leaves Town For Kristina?!!

Evidently, the latest GH previews indicate that Sonny makes Kristina an offer. Since he can’t take back what he’s done, Sonny goes to extremes to make things right. GH spoilers tease that Sonny offers to leave Port Charles, never to return again.
Will Kristina take Sonny up on his offer to get out of town? Will that bring peace to the mobster’s pregnant daughter?

General Hospital previews indicate that Finn Pleads With Elizabeth. The aftermath of his fateful night with Barb awakens like that hangover Finn is fighting. It’s going to be rough but will Elizabeth stand by him after his confession? Moreover, Finn won’t only have to answer to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), and of course Violet will be impacted as well.

Furthermore, the good doctor will have to navigate through this dark time keeping Violet as his priority. The road is about to get bumpy for Finn. Will Elizabeth stay along for the ride?
Elizabeth Is Devastated Over Finn’s One Night Stand

General Hospital comings and goings report that Devon Ogden joins GH as Barb. Look for Barb (Devon) to air this week on General Hospital. According to GH spoilers and rumors Devon will play the role of Barb. Elizabeth and Finn’s relationship is in jeopardy when Barb is right there when Finn is in need.
Finn Cheats On Elizabeth- Will Elizabeth Forgive Finn’s One Night Stand?
Dr. Finn’s struggles manifest into destructive behaviors. Apparently, Barb plays a role in his downfall when Finn betrays Elizabeth. His actions have serious consequences. Elizabeth Webber stands by Finn while he navigates through his feelings. But how far is too far? Will Elizabeth stand by Finn even after he makes the biggest mistake of their relationship?
