No one is really sure what Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been up to. What we know so far is that she thought she had Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) right where she wants him. Until now, it looked as if Sonny was going to fall for Ava.

Then, something unexpected happened and changed the course of their new relationship. In swept Natalia right when Sonny needed an intervention the most. Although unintentional, Natalia’s presence serves as a barrier between Ava, Sonny, and her covertly nefarious intentions.

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome goes down in flames once she’s exposed. It looks as though Carly got the process started but Sonny just doesn’t appreciate her quite yet. Soon enough, Ava’s cozy little situation is about to become very uncomfortable.

Moreover, for a while it looked as though Carly (Corinthos) Spencer (Laura Wright) and Ava were getting along just fine for Avery’s sake. But now Ava’s fallen into her seedy ways and is trying to pull one over on Sonny- and everyone else. Despite Sonny’s lack of faith in his ex-wife Carly, he’ll soon see that she’s remained genuine this entire time. That’s much more than he can say for Ava, Nina, and all the others who have turned their back on Sonny.

I’m going to first start off by saying that Maxie is one of my favorite characters of all time. Since 2005 Kirsten’s portrayal of Maxie Jones has captured my attention and adoration for the character and the actress. And because Kirsten Storms and I are only two years apart in age it feels like I’ve grown up right along with her character.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Kirsten explains how a personal life crisis has impacted her role as Maxie. She sat down with co-stars Bradford Anderson and Steve Burton on their podcast called The Daily Drama. The 40 year old GH star reflected on her 2021 brain surgery and how the recovery process trickled into her work. “I didn’t bounce back from that mentally and emotionally as quick as I would want to,” she noted. “And I feel like how I felt personally was reflected in Maxie in the show.” She admitted.

This was a difficult time for Kirsten and the criticism from so-called fans added to it. But now that she’s creeping up on the three year mark since her surgery, Storms has a new outlook.

“Now, I’m starting to feel a little bit more like myself as I’m learning to take better care of me. And at work, I’m dressing in more fashionable outfits. I’m more into making sure my makeup goes with it,” she added. “I have a really different, cool hairstyle. All the old school Maxie stuff.”

The brave and beautiful Kirsten Storms seems readier than ever to take on Maxie, and wow fans with that iconic Maximista fashion sense. She also joked about smiling over this rough patch and disclosed her wish, “Maybe we could just like not fully remember Maxie over the last couple of years,” Storms laughed, “and we could just jump from Spixie to now. But that is the growth.”

Last week, twenty five year old General Hospital star, Haley Pullos, received sentencing for her recent run-in on the freeway, and with the law. As a young and talented actor, Nicholas Chavez has become a fan favorite on ABC’s General Hospital. At first, GH fans struggled with the thought of anyone replacing Nicolas Bechtel as Spencer Cassadine. Bechtel stole the hearts of GH fans as the sweet yet sassy and sour little Cassadine. Reportedly, his time as GH’s Spencer ended in 2021 when GH Exexutives decided to SORAS the beloved little Prince.

Ultimately, Chavez took over the role to portray a more mature and even more troubled Spencer Cassadine. In 2021, Spencer returned from boarding school with a mission in mind. Furthermore, he and his girlfriend Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) had planned out how to carry out said mission. But little did Spencer know, they weren’t acting as a team. Reports of GH’s star’s ongoing situation began back in May of 2023. On May 17th, it was reported that the then 24 year old Haley Pullos was arrested for a DUI. General Hospital’s Molly Lansing Davis Ashford was going the wrong way on a California freeway when she hit another vehicle on the opposite side. Alcohol and marijuana play a role in the tragic event.

According to People.com, Pullos was set to be sentenced this upcoming July. Instead, the General Hospital star won’t have to wait that long for sentencing. A statement from Pullos’s lawyer, Mark Daniel Melnick informs fans that Haley surrendered to 90 days in jail on Monday, April 29th. Additionally, the 25 year old will serve a 5 year probation with 200 community service hours, along with having to pay $8,260 to the victim, Courteney Wilder.

Pullos’s lawyer spoke on her behalf about the outcome. “Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety,” Melnick noted.

GH Comings and Goings

The 61 year old daytime Soap Opera has recast Pullo’s role. Reports say three actresses were hired but none seemed to fit the part. Finally, General Hospital found Port Charles’s new “Molly.” Kristen Vaganos has been cast as Attorney Molly Lansing Davis Ashford.

Ava had a hand in Morgan’s death as well, becoming another enemy of Sonny’s.

Moreover, Ava and Sonny have come along way since what she did to Sonny’s son. She and Sonny are on the best terms they’ve ever been since Morgan, and the birth of their daughter, Avery.
