Sydney Mikayla stars in new film: Former General Hospital actress, and University of California student, Sydney Mikayla (Ex-Trina Robinson) has just wrapped up production on a new film in which she will star.
General Hospital news reports give a little insight on what Sydney has been up to since her departure from ABC’s daytime drama. Aside from her studies as a college student, Sydney Mikayla has been working on other film projects.
General Hospital spoilers reveal, Sydney Mikayla stars in a new film about a pregnant teenager and her family. The family sets out to move out of the city and to the countryside. An unexpected secret will be revealed which puts a dark cloud over the family’s fresh start in a new town. The film, Crybaby Bridge, focuses on mother and child. Directed by Sarah T. Schwab and Co-writer Emily Fouraler, Crybaby Bridge recently wrapped up production. More details of Sydney’s role are soon to come.
Sydney Mikayla played the role of Trina Robinson from February 20th, 2019 to March 17th, 2022. She stepped into the role after Tiana Le’s March 5th, 2018 exit. Sydney said goodbye to her character, Trina, and the text of the cast and crew to focus on college.
Emma Samms health issues, revealed. The General Hospital star has opened up about how her current struggles with health will effect upcoming General Hospital storylines.
Recently, Emma Samms discussed her return to ABC’s daytime drama with People Magazine. General Hospital news reports confirm that Samms is set to make her rerun debut in late October.
Prior to beginning filming for the role this time around, Emma sat down with the Executive Writers over at GH to fill them in on what’s been going on with her since battling Covid 19. Emma Samms health issues have lingered since being infected with the global pandemic virus. Samms contracted the virus in March of 2020.
She revealed to People what she had disclosed to the GH writing team. She admitted, “I told them if I stand still for too long, I might fall over. I might lose my voice if I talk too much. I sometimes sound gaspy.”
Long term effects of Covid has taken its toll on the 62 year old GH star. Those symptoms include, chronic ringing in the ears, blood pressure fluctuations, fatigue and breathlessness.
“I’m so cautious now. If I look at a distance to walk, I think, ‘How unwell will I feel if I walk?’ I’m always clocking, ‘Where’s the nearest hospital?’” Emma admits. “My inclination is to lie still in a quiet, dark room. That’s the only safe place health-wise for me,” she says. “And I am so not alone.” She added, she this global pandemic has effected so many.
“It’s an ongoing mass disabling event, and it’s been frightening to witness,” Emma pointed. “For me, it’s been a battle of the wills to accomplish anything.” Two years is a long time to be down and out. Now Emma is ready for her October 19th return debut as Holly Sutton.
Executive Producer, Frank Valentini weight in on Emma’s return, the current struggles with her health, and the part her condition plays in production. “You would never know there’s anything wrong with her. She puts every ounce of energy into it.” Valentini credit the actress.
Sadly, Emma disclosed that her struggle continues. “The truth is, if I’ve made an effort and put on makeup one day, that doesn’t mean I’m feeling better. I might look better, but it means I’ll feel awful tomorrow.”
It takes a lot of strength and courage to show up and power through when you know what’s in store if you pushback yourself. We are so excited to see Emma return to the iconic role as Holly Sutton. The adventures with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and crew are sure to keep us at the edge of our seat!
General Hospital Spoilers: Rory and Trina’s trip After everything she’s been through, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) just wants to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Family and friends are all Trina needs. She isn’t looking for any drama or complications in any aspect of her life.

Trina worries that something horrible is going to happen while Ava passed it off as her fears stemming from what happened when she went to Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) cabin. Trina, along with friends Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), and his troublesome girlfriend, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), went on a getaway. The idea was all Esme’s, claiming to be a last hurrah before Spencer was sent off to Springridge.
The trip turned into a complete nightmare when Esme does what she does best. Trina was humiliated by Esme’s passive aggressive drinking game after being drugged and tricked into confessions about her feelings for Cam. And that’s not all. Esme also managed fo frame Trina for recording revenge porn on her own two besties. These events have fueled Trina’s fears and brought her to the tough decisions she has to make today.

She hopes to have a nice time with the guy she’s into and who seems to be head over heels for her. The two go back and forth in their typical form, this time Nikolas starts losing hope. When Ava finds into that Esme is pregnant with Nikolas’s baby, the likelihood at another chance at their marriage is unlikely. There is a serial killer on the loose and the only lead for the PCPD to go off of is Diane’s description. Diane was certain her attacker was a woman, raising eyebrows across down and pointing fingers at the woman who’s win the award, “Most likely to become a serial killer.” Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is on the minds of many. Although believed to be dead, her body was never found.
