Van Hansis plays new Lucas Jones …New faces aren’t uncommon in daytime television, but they still come as a shock every time. This time, GH fans weren’t expecting any new faces other than the highly anticipated Lulu reveal.

Unexpectedly, another one of Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) family members popped up with a new face. According to General Hospital comings and goings, Lulu Spencer has been recast. Emme Rylan will no longer play Luke and Laura’s daughter. Instead, All My Children actress Alexa Havins has taken over the role.

Sad news has hit the daytime television community as General Hospital star has passed away. Reportedly, American television actor and General Hospital star Ron Hale dies at age 78.

According to General Hospital news, Ron Hale joined GH’s iconic cast in 1995. Before he played a mobster’s father, Ron Hale was known for his work on Ryan’s Hope from 1975-1989. Then, Hale joined General Hospital as Mike Corbin, and remained in the role until 2010. He retired in 2011, shortly after his GH exit.

According to the latest GH news reports, Hale passed away on August 27th, 2024. He was survived by his nieces and nephews. Lori Brown (Janet Brabham), Max Brabham, Erin Wilson (Laurens) and Marc Brown (Betsy) mourn their uncle’s loss.

General Hospital recaps remind fans of who Cyrus used to be prior to his spiritual awakening. Laura Spencer Collins’s (Genie Francis) never knew she had a brother, let alone two. But Cyrus and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) blew into her life like the winds on pier 52. Not only did Laura never ask for brothers, she certainly never wished upon a star for a psychotic, murdering, long-lost sibling. Thankfully, of Laura’s two new family members, only one is certifiable.
