The wait is over! After almost three years, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) finally lands her man. Their journey is almost surreal, but she pinched herself and she’s not dreaming. Finally, Sonny and Nina are husband and wife.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Nina’s time is running out even faster than we could have imagined. The dark cloud that follows her is creeping up over her faster than she can stay in front of it. After all, it’s not easy to keep up so many lies. You know what’s said about lies is that once you tell one, you have to tell another to cover up the first. Eventually, the lies snowball, and things get out of control.
Nina Reeves has told one lie after another since meeting Sonny. Before, for some misunderstood reason Sonny excused her lies. Blame the amnesia, or claim he’s a changed man, but either way he let her get away with it. But what happens when he finds out that Nina’s lying days aren’t behind her? And that the lies she’s told have caused detriment to people he cares for? Well, General Hospital spoilers tease that Nina’s lies are exposed, making hers and Sonny’s marriage about the shortest in GH history. Although it was just moments after Portia and Curtis said “I do” that her lies were exposed, still, they stayed legally married.
However, GH rumors claim that Nina has Portia beat when someone exposes her to her more husband. Like Curtis, Sonny is devastated. But he won’t sit around and stay married long enough for Nina to BS her way out. Instead, he demands an annulment ASAP!
I don’t know about you, but to me it looks like Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is going to explode. Her calm demeanor, even when exhausted and flustered, makes me think that this is the calm before the storm.
Is Esme faking? At this point I’d say that she is most likely not faking her amnesia. However, something tells me that the old Esme is still in there somewhere. Currrently, the young mother is doing her best to care for her son Ace (Jay and Joey Clay), and to live up to expectations. So far so good, as the Spencer and Cassadine families are impressed by Esme’s 180.°
Meanwhile, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) continues to build his relationship with long awaited love, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Their weekend getaway to New York was everything and more. Additionally, their bond is stronger because of it. But is it strong enough to withstand the force that tore them apart the first time?
Esme’s Up To Her Old Tricks
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that as Spencer and Esme spend more family time with Ace and even Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), Esme develops increasingly strong feelings for Spence. She knows he’s happy with Trina, but at the same time she can’t help but feel this immense sense of family she and Spencer are together with Ace. According to General Hospital rumors, Esme can’t help herself, and she begins to display dishonest behavior that resembles Esme’s old ways. Apparently, she starts getting sneaky with Spencer as a way tk get what she wants… him. Whether or not the old, twisted Esme is back, or if revamped is just determined to get the man she desires, things begin to get weird over at Laura and Kevin’s. Before you know it, Esme makes her way into Spencer’s bed, leaving Trina out in the cold.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) inch closer to becoming husband and wife. To their pleasant surprise, they are surrounded by their closest loved ones, including Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). The unlikely-to-attend pair are not only present but supportive as well.
General Hospital previews indicate that Michael may be present to support his father, but the event doesn’t have his full attention. Instead, he’s focused on getting answers to a burning question. Who is responsible for tipping off the SEC? Meanwhile, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) hangs back in Port Charles to work on the same mission. Obviously, Carly wants to get to the bottom of it all, mainly to help Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Additionally, adverse effects continue to occur as the result of the leaked information. Lives have been jeopardized since Nina had Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) throw Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) under the bus.
Carly’s life was turned upside down because of Sonny’s bride-to-be. Her man is in Pentonville, and she suffers major financial woes. At this point, Carly is sick of it and is determined to turn things around, especially for Drew. So of course, Carly starts digging. According to GH spoilers and previews, Michael and Carly finally make headway.
Michael Blames Valentin For SEC Tip-Off
GH recaps recall the text that Michael received as the ceremony began. Although the text has no indication of the sender, it sort of looked like it was Dex. Because, right after Michael looked at his phone, the camera quickly panned over to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer). That’s when Dex quickly shut down his phone. Furthermore, he managed to evade Joss’s inquiry and skipped right over telling her who texted him. If that isn’t suspicious then I don’t know.
Ultimately, GH spoilers reveal that Michael learns that Martin Grey tipped off the SEC. Confused, Michael tries to connect the dots. Why Martin? Then, Michael realizes Martin’s ties to Valentin as his legal counsel, and figures it has to be Valentin. At this rate, will Nina ever get exposed?!
Who in the world is creeping into Willow Tait Corinthos’s (Katelyn MacMullen) room? She and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) traveled to Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) island to celebrate their parents on their upcoming nuptials. She becomes a private jet-setter as she experiences a bit of the Corinthos life.
General Hospital spoilers tease willow is startled when she’s woken up by an unwanted guest. Although, the likelihood of someone sneaking into a room that she shares with Michael while on the island is extremely low. Instead, GH rumors hint that Willow has another dream.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that Willow confronts an unwanted guest in her dream. And my guess is that she receives another visit from her adopted mother, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel).
Ava Jerome (Maura West) killed Nikolas Cassadine, or so she thinks. She’ll do anything to protect her daughter Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). That’s why she didn’t think twice when she clubbed Nikolas over the head when he threatened to take her daughter. Even still, she didn’t mean to kill him, and with Austin’s help, that’s exactly what she thinks.
Dr. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) helped Ava move Nik’s seemingly lifeless body, but neglected to tell her the truth. GH recaps recall that Austin knows exactly where Ava’s ex-husband disappeared to, and that he’s been kept alive. Now, he’s in hiding until the moment is right.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that it’s about that time when Nikolas shows himself. Meanwhile, Mason (Nathanyael Grey) boldly abducted Ava straight from Wyndemere. In fact, he didn’t even try to disguise himself. While GH fans question where Mason takes Ava, GH spoilers tease that Ava’s headed straight to Nikolas.
According to GH rumors, Mason kidnapped Ava to bring her to the man with which she once shared a home. Now, all of the lies and deceit have created a monster. Recent hard times invoked the dark side in this Cassadine, and now he’s taking it out on Ava. She got on his bad side and then tried to kill him. Consequently, now he wants her to pay.
It’s safe to say that GH fans can accredit General Hospital’s Executive Producer, Frank Valentini for the bit of 90s nostalgia going on in Port Charles. It’s always nice to see familiar faces return over the years, bringing a sense of tradition and history.
Recently, General Hospital’s latest casting news shakes things up around Port Charles, especially the Quartermaine family. Earlier this year, word of Sofer’s The Bold And The Beautiful departure, fans immediately began to speculate a GH return. Finally, Rena Sofer returned to General Hospital as Lois Cerullo after nearly three decades.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Sofer explains how Lois’s return came to be. The actress then detailed the events that lead to her GH return. Evidently, this has been in the works since 2021. Rena explained that she was still playing Quinn on The Bold And The Beautiful at the time the idea originated.
Upon her GH return, Sofer spilled the tea to Soaps In Depth. “Out of nowhere, Frank reached out to me by text asking if I’d be willing to talk to him,” she continued. “I said, ‘Of course.’ The last time I saw Frank was at Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra, The Young And The Restless) and Chad Duell’s (Michael Corinthos, GH) wedding October 2021); we sat with each other and it was really great to see him.
Is Lois Cerullo Here To Stay?
“He was like, ‘I would love to get you back to GH,’” she continued. “At that time, I was still on The Bold and the Beautiful and I wasn’t even discussing it with him. But with this Eddie Maine story happening, it just really seemed like an absolutely perfect time to have Lois come back for a short amount of time to try to get Eddie to remember that he’s Ned. So Frank reached out to me and asked me if I’d be willing to come back for a short amount of time and I said yes.”
“I’ve played a lot of characters in my career and Lois is probably one of the top three characters I’ve ever played in 37 years of being an actress,” Sofer admitted. “So to be able to go back and do it was unreal.
“It’s just interesting to play her at this age,” she added. “She’s still loud and she’s still mouthy. She was still a lot like me, except with a Brooklyn accent and nails. But also, the story isn’t about me. The story is about Brook Lynn. The story is about Eddie Maine and Ned, so I need to respect that. This is not about me coming back and telling my story; this is about me coming back and supporting the stories that are there with me trying to create the knowledge of who Lois is now, 27 years later. So that is challenging, but also, part of the fun.”
Port Charles feels a little more like when I began watching now that Ned, Eddie, and Lois are together again!
Today is the day! General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that today is LOIS DAY on GH! Of course, Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) daughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is ecstatic to have her mother here. Additionally, there’s no doubt that her arrival will ruffle some feathers. First and foremost, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
But have you wondered how Olivia Falconeri will react to Ned’s ex-wife, Lois’s arrival? Sure, they are friends who go way back to Bensonhurst. Even still, Olivia’s marriage is in a fragile state as Ned only remembers his 90s rockstar persona, Eddie Maine.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Lois and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) are over the moon to see each other! Despite who they both are to Ned (Wally Kurth), there aren’t any hard feelings. Perhaps Lois can help get Eddie find his way back to Ned. Or at least Olivia.
Daytime television star, Roger Howarth is best know for his iconic role on ABC’s One Life To Live. Sadly, the soap opera came to an end after over 43 years. Even after OLTL’s final episode in 2012, Roger Howarth’s portrayal of Todd Manning continued. That was went Howarth joined OLTL’s sister soap, the wildly popular General Hospital.
However, due to legal issues, the character names were prohibited for use at GH. Therefore, the story shifted, Todd Manning was no more, and Roger Howard with now James Franco’s replacement as Franco Baldwin. He won over fans despite the nature of the role, and circumstances lead to a personality revamp for Franco. Another twist and turn killed off Franco, which riffled a lot of fan’s feather. Alas, Howarth returns as the odd ball doctor, Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt, son of Jimmy Lee Holt.
According to General Hospital news reports, Howarth deals with another exit. Currently, Austin is in the thick of things. He’s involved with Sonny Corinthos’s enemy, which usually doesn’t turn out so well for the other side. For now, Sonny, Nina and their intimate group of wedding guests carry-on with the preparation and celebration. Shocking GH rumors tease that Carly and those who stayed behind in Port Charles are now in danger because of Cyrus.
Many GH fans await the moment when Nina is exposed. However, Sonny may not get the chance to hear the truth. GH rumors claim that Cyrus’s early release puts Carly and the rest of the family in danger. The streets of Port Charles won’t be safe at all when Renault is out of Pentonville.
Ultimately, Sonny has to protect the ones he loves, and that includes his ex wife. Is it true? Sonny leaves Nina at the altar to save Carly from Cyrus?
Poor Sasha! She’s been through the wringer and now it’s time for closure. Thanks to Cody (Josh Kelly), Sam (Kelly Monaco, Dante (Dominic Zampronga), and even Mac (John J. York) and Chase (Josh Swickard) over at the PCPD, Sasha is safe.
Gladys Corbin and Dr. Montague did a number in Sasha, and now they pay the prices. GH recaps recall that Sonny sent Gladys packing, never to return again. But what about the good doctor?
