General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Rena recently sat down with General Hospital star and State of Mind host, Maurice Benard, opening up about her life as an actress, marriage, specifically marriage to GH’s Wally Kurth, divorce, and her upbringing.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sofer disclosed some personal details about her marriage to GH co-star, Wally Kurt. Rena and Wally, aka Lois Cerullo and Ned Ashton, met on the set of ABC’s General Hospital, fell in love and got married. Rena reveals details about their breakup, and how they both realized they weren’t in love. She explained to Maurice how she and Wally fell in love on tv, and when she left the soap opera, they then both realized they weren’t in love, but their characters were in love. “Those characters, we lived and breathed them so much, but when I left we really learned that [pause] we, I really like Wally a lot, he’s an incredible guy. He’s just not the guy for me.”

Rena also divulged on how she got started into the business, her upbringing in New York, her bus trips alone at 15, moving to LA, marriage, children, and more.
