General Hospital news reports confirmed that Disney had put a Covid vaccine mandate in place on November 1st, requiring all cast and crew to be vaccinated, or lose their job. As we saw with Steve Burton and Ingo Rademacher, the mandate resulted in losing both Jason Morgan and Jasper Jax Jacks, for the time being. However, the mandate isn’t stopping the spread of Covid.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that GH star, Kirsten Storms has taken to Instagram to announce she has tested positive. She goes on to explain that she was feeling sick and thought she had bronchitis. She recently moved the day before Christmas Eve, and with all the hustle and bustle, she felt run down and eventually tested positive a few days after Christmas.
General Hospital news and spoilers share a quote from Kirsten’s IG story, explaining how her Covid diagnosis came about.
“Three days ago, I tested positive for Covid after thinking I had bronchitis. I was really sick the first day, the first day and a half. And now, every time I sleep, when I wake up, I feel a little bit better. So I’m doing good today. But yeah, I’m doing better. I crafted today, which is a sure sign that I’m feeling good. Not great, but good.”
Kirsten has definitely had her share of challenges in 2021, including undergoing brain surgery. Her solid work ethic as Maxie Jones on General Hospital shines on screen as she juggles the nuances of everyday life. Kirsten is strong and we are rooting for her to have a speedy recovery.
