General Hospital news and spoilers reveal GH actress Laura Wright has revealed her justification for Carly’s most recent lie- or lie of omission if you want to get technical. Carly is lying for obvious reasons. One, she can’t stand Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), especially after she kept Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) away from his entire family, including his own wife. Secondly, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) asked Carly to keep this secret while on her death bed.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Wright has explain Carly’s reasoning for keeping this secret from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). She tells Soap Opera Digest, “I think she’s putting it out of her head right now, one hundred percent,” Wright explained. “I don’t think it’s weighing on her at all. She’s just lost her hotel, she’s getting ready to have another grandchild, so I don’t even think she is thinking about Nina and Willow.”
There is a key element that much of the audience forgets. When blaming Carly and shaming her from keeping Willow in the dark about her own mother, some tend to forget that Willow flat out told Carly that she doesn’t want to know who her real mother is. Laura reminds us, “Willow told her flat-out to her face ‘I don’t want to know who my mother is. If it turns out to be someone as awful as Nina, it’ll ruin our lives.’ So Carly thought, ‘One less thing for me to worry about. Done.’”
