As a young and talented actor, Nicholas Chavez has become a fan favorite on ABC’s General Hospital. At first, GH fans struggled with the thought of anyone replacing Nicolas Bechtel as Spencer Cassadine. Bechtel stole the hearts of GH fans as the sweet yet sassy and sour little Cassadine. Reportedly, his time as GH’s Spencer ended in 2021 when GH Exexutives decided to SORAS the beloved little Prince.
Ultimately, Chavez took over the role to portray a more mature and even more troubled Spencer Cassadine. In 2021, Spencer returned from boarding school with a mission in mind. Furthermore, he and his girlfriend Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) had planned out how to carry out said mission. But little did Spencer know, they weren’t acting as a team. Instead, she was playing him, and her father was none other than Ryan Chamberlain.
A few years later and Spencer couldn’t rid himself of that toxic girl so she brought him down with her. Sadly, Esme and Spencer fell overboard and their bodies remain missing. Chavez stated, “While there are no current plans for me to return, we are still talking very openly about future possibilities for Spencer in Port Charles.”
