Kurth weighs in on General Hospital’s depiction of Autism as he and co-star Lisa LoCicero play out this very realistic scenario on screen. General Hospital spoilers reveal Kurth’s own son Brogan (17) is autistic, making Kurth’s current story as Ned Ashton hit close to home. He explained, “I think they’ve done a really great job,” referring to the realism of finding out and coping with such a diagnosis. He continued, ““The writers knew about [Brogan and] Frank [Valentini] wanted to make sure how I felt about it. He wanted me to know that it was somewhat from my own personal experience that they were inspired to tell this story.”
