General Hospital news reports Benard took to Twitter to ask his friend, Kelly Monaco, in an open invitation, if she would be willing to accompany him on an episode of his podcast, State of Mind. One fan pointed out that Kelly Monaco is very private in nature, and questioned Maurice’s decision to publicly ask Kelly about being involved. The Twitter user, @Rosieb17832659 accused Benard of pressuring Kelly on a public forum.

Many times social media seems to be a place where people feel they can make assumptions and call others out for things they truly know nothing about. Although it’s apparent that Kelly is pretty private on social media, the accusation placed upon Maurice Benard are way off base. It was proven when Kelly chimed in to defend her friend.
