For a while it seemed ABC Network was about to get the green light to resume film production. After the all clear was announced for June 12th, the news was soon retracted after a slight rise in the bomber of positive Covid-19 cases.
Since then, LA County has addressed guidelines and protocol for safely opening up film studios and getting people back to work. in recent Daytime TV news, CBS Network announced they have resumed film production after the long hiatus.
General Hospital news has not been released regarding a restart date for ABC, particularly, General Hospital. GH’s Steve Burton, aka, Jason Morgan, retweeted a tweet by Michael Fairman, regarding CBS resuming to film, and added the comment, “Are we next???”
It looks as though the cast and crew may be just as much in the dark as the GH fans. It’s uncertain why one network would be back to film production while another hasn’t given a status update on their plan to restart.
