Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been missing for over a week after falling into the river in New Jersey. Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) body was found after being recovered by medics. Julian was pronounced dead on the scene.
General Hospital spoilers reveal there is hope for Sonny Corinthos, as his wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and bestie Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are doing everything they can to find Sonny and bring him home safe and sound.
General Hospital rumors claim there could be a huge twist, making Sonny’s return not so cut and dry. Last year, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) fell to what people think would be her death, and a body was found on the New Jersey side of the river. Sound familiar? That’s exactly where Julian and Sonny had their altercation, leading them to fall from the broken bridge and into the waters in New Jersey.
General Hospital rumors immediately began claiming that Nelle Benson couldn’t actually be dead because the character brings so much to the drama, especially to the Corinthos family.

Now that Sonny has gone missing around the same area Nelle fell from the cliff, General Hospital rumors suggest Sonny was found by Nelle and is being held captive! Holding Sonny against his will would be the perfect revenge on the Corinthos family by crazy Nelle!
General Hospital news reports have not yet confirmed the return of Chloe Lanier as Nelle Benson, however it is know that the role has been left open for a potential return.
