In his effort to take down his own father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Michael hired Dex as a spy. Dex as Sonny’s trusted employee is nothing more than a plant. Although Dex actually carries out Sonny’s orders, he reports everything to Michael. Together, they strategize how to put a stop to Sonny.
