Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) have built a life together as a couple and caring for Finn and Hayden Barnes’ daughter, Violet (Jophielle Love). The two of them have also been working on becoming each other’s chosen family. Finn’s brother Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) is an important part of Finn’s life now that the two of them are making up for lost time as half brothers. Anna also has someone important in her life that she wants Finn to accept and love.
Anna’s son, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) isn’t on Finn’s list of favorite people. Finn can see through Peter. Even though he cannot prove his instincts about Peter, or convince Anna that Peter has an agenda, he knows that there is something that’s not right about Anna’s son. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) has tried to get Anna to see Peter for who he really is but she just won’t come to terms with the fact that Peter is a lying, manipulative, criminal.
