Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) seems to butt heads with many people in Port Charles, and there is one particular person that strikes a cord as a result of a recent heartbreak.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is the root cause of Britt’s broken heart as she is the woman Jason chose over her. Obviously Jason is also responsible as he is the other party who had to choose between two women. But things are not always as they seem, which is exactly what Britt is about to find out.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly comes clean when confronted by Britt. Back before Carly and Jason got married, Carly made it a point to exaggerate the relation she had with Jason, in order to push Britt far enough away that she wouldn’t get in the middle of their plan. Carly had told Britt that she and Jason were in love, and that was their reason for getting married. But now that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is back, Carly has changed her tune.
General Hospital previews indicate that Britt confronts Carly about her lie, while Carly openly admits it. Despite what Britt may think, Carly hadn’t walked away from this whole thing a winner. Yes, she got her husband back, but she broke hearts along the path, including her own as well as Jason’s. Now Carly struggles with her feelings while Jason as the freedom to move forward with anyone- including Britt.
