For starters, they both know how to handle danger, and they both have children with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). As two strong, independent women, these ladies become a force when they band together.
General Hospital recaps recall, back in Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) version of Sonny sheltered her from his dark side. Sonny’s amnesia protected Nina from Sonny’s whole self, including his business. After his tragic fall, “Mike” didn’t remember his past life as a husband to Carly, a father, and a mobster. On the contrary, the woman who claimed to care for him knew about his true identity and said nothing. Still, her superficial awareness about his business means nothing in regard to knowing how to handle the dangerous reality.
Now, Nina’s bubble is about to burst. The man she knew as “Cowboy Mike,” is now back to his old self. Nina, meet Sonny Corinthos. Family man, friend, and mob boss. Of all Sonny’s exes, Nina knows the least about what it’s like to stand by your man- when your man is Mr. Corinthos.
