Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a man of honor and has always prided himself on being a man of his word. He takes lies and betrayal very seriously and doesn’t hand out second chances.
After finding out Nina has been lying to him and his entire family for months, Sonny’s reaction wasn’t what most GH fans expected. Compared to Brenda Barrett’s (Vanessa Marcil) betrayal Scenes when Sonny found out she was wearing a wire, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) barely received a slap on the wrist. It’s almost as though Sonny now has a soft spot for Nina after falling in love as Mike.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina is about to get exactly what GH fans expect from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). The cat is out of the bag and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) felt Carly deserved to know who kept Sonny from their family for all these months. Welt and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) stood there and listened to Maxie’s explanation of how Nina kept Sonny’s life a secret and just couldn’t believe their ears. Joss agrees with Carly that this could never be chalked up to a “mistake” from someone who is very remorseful, as Maxie described Nina’s confession.
General Hospital previews show Carly’s intense reaction to learning about what Nina has done. Carly confronts Nina with everything she has. She won’t stand for being blamed for being “mean,” that is not any type of justification for Nina’s decisions and actions.
