General Hospital Spoilers: Confirmed News; Nicolas Bechtel Returns As Spencer Cassadine

The speculations around Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) on screen son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) can now rest as new General Hospital spoilers have confirmed the news that Bechtel will be returning to General Hospital as Spencer. Spencer was sent off to boarding school in order to be safer from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and the character last aired on screen this past early Spring. He is set to return the week of January 20th, however the specific date remains unknown.

When Nikolas first was shot and “killed” by Valentin, Spencer seemed to be taking the news in a strange way. He would even mention that he has heard from his father even after everyone was told Nikolas had died. Now that Nikolas has resurfaced and has shown himself to close family and friends, some were angry he could let them believe he was dead for over 3 years. Nikolas’ Mother Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) was particularly angry that her son could let his own son think he is now left without a Father and how Nikolas could miss 3 precious years of Spencer’s life.

General Hospital spoilers have hinted that Laura is most likely wrong about how Nikolas went about things when it comes to Spencer. Will we find out that Spencer has known his Dad was alive the entire time? It’s quite possible the two even had regular visits with one another.

Make sure to watch GH the week of January 20th to see Nicolas Bechtel return to GH as Spencer Cassadine and watch the story line unfold.
