The Corinthos family has welcomed Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) into their home and into their lives with open arms. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has cared for him as if he was one of her own, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has protected him as he would his own child.
General Hospital rumors started a while ago, making claims the Dev’s Turkish background is a clue to his connection with Sonny’s enemy, the late, Balkan (Daniel Benzali).
General Hospital spoilers and rumors have suggested that Dev is the son of Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) and Alec Janacek (Antoine Knoppers). Alec was killed by Sonny Corinthos’ son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in order to protect Brenda.
In an article posted back in August, General Hospital news revealed Vanessa Marcil hinted a return in a tweet reply to a GH fan. This helped back up claims of Marcils return, and the story involving Dev turning out to be her son, and grandson of The Balkan.
General Hospital rumors hint that Dev is in Port Charles to carry out a master revenge plan. Dev is planning to get close to the Corinthos family, to then use their trust to his advantage for when he finds it to be the right time to strike.
Since witnessing Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks’ kiss on Homecoming, Dev is showing his true colors. Dev has turned dark, and has resorted to violating Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) privacy, lying and manipulating Cam, all while devilishly smirking over his accomplishments.
General Hospital rumors claim Dev wants revenge again Sonny and Dante for killing his father and for the death of his grandfather. Although The Balkan/Theo Hoffman was killed by his own wife, Suzanne Stanwyck (Adrienne Barbeau), Dev blames the Corinthos family for the entire situation.
Brenda and Sonny have always been very close and even after their romantic relationship ended, they have remained important to one another throughout the years.
