General Hospital Spoilers: Kelly Thiebaud Confirms Britt’s Huntington’s Disease

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has always been the brother Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) never wanted. Taking after their father, Peter carried out his life in the only way he knew how. He was raised by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and it shows. Peter inherited Cesar’s criminal mind while Britt’s Huntington’s disease is all she took from their father.

In addition to enduring family dysfunction, Britt has an even more personal problem to face. Britt’s Huntington’s Disease is now a way of life for the young doctor. Britt inherited the incurable disease from her infamous father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt’s Huntington’s Disease diagnosis will continue to play a role in the development of her character. In a recent Instagram post, General Hospital actress Kelly Thiebaud shared a photo of herself at the 8th annual Freeze HD event. the star was invited by the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.

GH news and spoilers indicate Thiebaud has become and advocate for this incurable disease while spreading awareness. Kelly admits to being unaware of HD prior to being given her current storyline on ABC’s General Hospital. Kelly thanked HDSA for inviting her to the event, as well as, Briana Lane (temp Brook Lynn Quartermaine), for connecting her to the organization.
