General Hospital Spoilers: Max Gail Wraps Up Mike’s Story Line, The Corinthos Family Suffers A Great Loss
Remember the good times… that is what Sonny is about to face as General Hospital spoilers reveal he will receive heartbreaking news via a phone call. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his father Mike Corbin (Max Gail) have grown much closer in recent times, coming a long way from a rocky past as father and son. When Mike was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Sonny, Carly (Laura Wright) and the rest of the Corinthos family had to process the devastating news, and after some denial period for Sonny, the family has accepted the fate of this progressive disease. Mike has had bad days and good days, and they have all been emotional roller coasters of days for his son and family.
General Hospital spoilers indicate actor Max Gail is getting ready to wrap up his story line as the iconic mobster’s father. General Hospital rumors claim that after Mike’s turn for the worse coming toward the end of this month, it’s only a matter of time before Mike’s disease takes control and the Corinthos family will have to say goodbye.
Max Gail has been an amazing addition to the cast of General Hospital, taking on the role of Sonny’s dad with a complicated relationship with his son. GH fans fell in love with his charm and talent he exudes on screen. Gail should really receive an Emmy for this role. It will be very difficult to say goodbye and surely there will be sad times ahead in Port Charles. Sonny will need support from his wife, Carly, son, Michael (Chad Duell), along with other close friends like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
