Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) has been withholding information which allegedly claims that her father, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews), is alive. She hasn’t wanted to let her mom, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) in on what she was told until she knew if it were actually true. Trina revealed to her mom that she didn’t want to say anything before knowing for sure in order to protect Portia from getting hurt.

It’s only a matter of time before the truth about Taggert is revealed, along with all involved in helping fake his death, and those who have found out after the fact and kept it from his closest family. Trina has already justified her dad’s action, stating that if he is alive and hasn’t contacted her, she knows it’s for a good reason. But will Portia feel the same as Trina and be so understanding?
