GH history tells the story of how Carly and Jason’s history comes before he ever met Sam. Although romance wasn’t really in the cards for Jason and Carly, she’s always been Jason’s highest priority. That is until Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) came into Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) life. Suddenly, Carly was second fiddle, while somehow still remaining Jason’s priority. According to GH history, Sam and Carly had resentment toward each other as they fought to be Jason’s number one. At some point, Sam came first and Carly felt rejected. But everything. Smoothed out eventually so that they could all live in harmony. Then, Sam dipped out on Jason, and Carly remained his BFF forever.
