Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is trying to get his life back on track now that the nightmare is over and he has been reunited with his family. Although Sonny doesn’t see it as a nightmare, his wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has her own thoughts on what happened to her husband at the hands of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Sonny and Carly are trying to pick up where they left off in regard to their relationship, but there is so much gray area, and things left unsaid, it’s been difficult to get back into the swing of their fault lives. Sonny is still keeping the whole truth from Carly, hiding the fact that he and Nina fell in love.
