Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is known for being a man of his word and a man of honor. Although not to be messed with, Sonny is for the most part, fair in his retaliations. It’s not like him to act selfish less as opposed to protectively. But in this case, things are different.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has struck a cord with Sonny, causing him to go back on his threat against Peter. After confronting Peter at the PCPD, Peter reminded Sonny that he knows all too well what he and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are hiding from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and the rest of their family.
In recent General Hospital previews, Sonny tells Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) that killing Peter is a bad idea. Little does she know, Sonny was threatened by Peter, and if anything happens to him, Sonny’s secret will be exposed. Protecting himself over Maxie and her baby Louise seems out of character for Sonny. But he can’t risk Carly finding out about what really happened between him and Nina back in Nixon Falls.
