Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) pushes his luck when his big plan becomes a close call. Despite Dex’s vow of loyalty, Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) trust in his employee wavers. Rightfully so, Sonny suspects Dex is hiding something. As a result, Sonny takes the next step in uncovering the truth.
On the business front, Dex has every reason to believe things will go according to plan. However, he doesn’t anticipate Sonny’s suspicions. As Dex reassures Josslyn that he’ll be okay, she reciprocates by affirming that she will stay put during the Pikeman meeting. According to General Hospital spoilers, Dex sets out to carryout his and Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) mission to take Sonny down. But what he doesn’t know is that he’s walking into a trap.
Seemingly, the tables will turn on Dex. What he thinks is the ultimate sting is actually a trap. As it turns out, Sonny isn’t blind to his employee’s stealth intentions. Therefore, he collusively postponed the Pikeman meeting. Unfortunately for Dex and Michael, plans won’t pan out and expected and Dex becomes subject to Sonny’s wrath.
Moreover, Josslyn’s inability to let things shake out on their own, plays a major role, in Dex’s immediate fate. According to General Hospital spoilers, Josslyn follows Dex to what they think is the Pikeman meeting that could end Sonny forever. Little do either of them know, Sonny is step ahead.
Josslyn stays far enough away to remain inconspicuous but interferes when Sonny pins Dex against the wall demanding answers. General Hospital rumors hint that Sonny specifically asks who Dex is working for in a dramatic altercation. If not for Joss’s protective approach, Sonny may have taken things too far.
