Nikolas fakes his death! By now almost each and every General Hospital fan knows the situation with Marcus Coloma. Coloma’s three-year contract is the almost 60 year old soap opera came to an end. Well, many actors negotiate a new contract to remain in their current role. General Hospital news reports confirms that is not the case with Marcus.

General Hospital comings and goings news reveals Marcus will exit as Nikolas Cassadine by the end of January. Previously, General Hospital spoilers revealed a controversial debate surrounding the reason he did not fulfill his last obligations.

General Hospital recaps recall Tyler Christopher left the role of Nikolas Cassadine in 2016 Nicolas faked his death and left his young son, Spencer Cassadine, without a father. Three years later, it was revealed that Nikolas was alive and faked his death in 2016. At that time, Marcus Coloma took over the role of Nikolas from Tyler Christopher.

GH news reports confirm Coloma will exit before the end of January. That being said, the current storyline is leading up to his departure. General Hospital rumors hint Nikolas purposely leaves Spencer fatherless yet again. When Esme sets her tower on fire, the opportunity presents itself and Nikolas does what he has to do. What if Nikolas fakes his death, making it look as though he perished in the fire?

General Hospital news reports have yet to conform whether Nikolas will die or if the role will be recast. Having Nikolas fake his death leaves the door open for the latter.
