Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has always professed his unconditional love for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). The two broke up after Nina found out Valentin had betrayed Nina by lying about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) being her long lost, biological daughter. Now the tables have turned, and although it wasn’t Valentin Nina has betrayed, she has deceived many with her deception and lies.

Nina’s pathetic attempt at justifying her lies and keeping Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) away from his wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), his kids and grandchildren, can’t withstand the logic Jax pointed out when comparing her lies to those of Valentin’s.

Nina has always had Valentin’s unconditional love, even after being told she wouldn’t be able to continue on with their relationship due to the hurt he had caused. He promised to always love her, and whatever she needed, he would always be there to help.
General Hospital rumors suggest that Valentin’s feelings could change now that he knows Nina is capable of doing exactly what she turned her back on him for doing. Nina came down hard on Valentin and ultimately ended their relationship, just to turn around and deceive someone else.
