Was Dante Too Late to Save Lulu?
Olivia had a vision that Dante told her he was too late, and he couldn’t save Lulu. Olivia’s visions aren’t always a direct indication of what will happen in the future, however there have been times when Olivia sees something that happens almost exactly as she saw it. On Friday, Luke, Laura, and Dante came to Lulu’s rescue. But was it too late? She wasn’t breathing. Will they be able to bring Lulu back from the dead before Stavros gets to them?
GH’s Kristen Alderson, Michael Easton, and Roger Howarth are Happy to Return to Port Charles!
After the April 11th announcement by ABC that the OLTL trio, Alderson, Easton, and Howarth will be returning to GH on may 10th, 2013, the actors were able to express their feelings towards the decision. Kristen Alderson and Michael Easton used social media to reach out to their fans. Alderson sent out a tweet expressing her excitement and Easton wrote on his Facebook page, “SEE YOU AGAIN IN MAY… with love and thanks.”
The three actors will be entering General Hospital in brand new roles. I am very excited and interested to see that wonderful work of Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati with this huge challenge.

Who is Staying in Port Charles? Who Will be Leaving?
General Hosptal’s 50th anniversary brought back many familiar faces. Some we expected to see and others came as a complete shock. Have you been wondering which of these characters will be sticking around and for how long? We have some answers for you. In an interview with TV Guide, Ron Carlivati gives fans the inside scoop on the actors/characters comings and going.
Luke, Laura, and Scotty’s love triangle still has room to grow. Even after Luke and Laura get back from their adventure of saving their daughter, Lulu, these three characters will be sticking around so that Luke, Laura, and Scotty can work things out.
Carlivati states that Lucy Coe and her portrayer Lynn Herring will be sticking around Port Charles for a long while. He even says, “I think Lucy is already planning next year’s Nurses Ball!”
Felicia (Kristina Wagner) had to choose between the two great loves of her life, Frisco (Jack Wagner) and Mac John York). She chose Mac and now Frisco is bitter and angry. Maxie is having a baby in a few months so this does leave an opening for a possible visit from Frisco in the near future.
Ingo Rademacher (Jax) scored a spot on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars so GH had less time to work with him. The whole story with Brenda, Michael and Carly was a quick decision after Ingo was set to be on DWTS.
Regarding Nurse Bobbi (Jackie Zeman), Carlivati tells TV Guide that she will be leaving Port Charles. But he says she will definitely be returning to Port Charles for other important events.
There as been a lot of back and forth regarding whether or not John Stamos will be reprising his role as Blackie Parrish. Carlivati explains threat there was a lot of confusion and miscommunication when it comes to Stamos. He also mentions that there is still a possibility for his return in the future.
Those at GH plan to celebrate it’s 50th anniversary all year long. This leaves a lot of time for more intense, classic GH stories involving vet characters.

Stavros Cassadine is Back to Torture the Spencer Family
This week’s SHOCKING return, the return of the evil Helena Cassadine’s presumed dead son, Stavros. Stavros, Nikolas Cassadine’s Father, was “killed” by Luke Spencer back in 2001. For 10 years, the residents of Port Charles breathed a bit easier knowing that the lethal man was gone from the Earth only leaving his Mother Helena to reek havoc on the Spencer family. But ten years later, Luke and Laura received the shock of their lives.
Since the return of Stavros this week, we have learned that Helena was keeping him alive all these years. Helena, Grandmother of Nikolas was keeping Stavros a secret in order to nurse him back to health and become stronger than ever. She succeeded and when he became well, he was fixated on a woman he saw in Istanbul. He had believed that woman to be his former love/infatuation Laura, but in actuality it was Lulu. he wants her all to himself and will stop at nothing to get her. He is the one who sent her the Ice Princess. When Nikolas found out about this, he had every intention of coming back to Port Charles to warn Lulu about this. Nikolas was too late, Lulu was already missing, and Stavros had Nikolas shot.
Dante saw Lulu through a window of a door in the Cassadine chamber lying there. Will Dante be able to get to her before it’s too late?

Kristen Alderson’s New Role?
Rumors are buzzing about what will happen to Starr Manning now that she told Michael she isn’t coming back to Port Charles. The fact that Prospect Park owns the rights to the name Starr Manning has everything to do with why this whole situation has gotten so out of control. Fans keep wondering if Kristen Alderson will return to GH as Starr, reprise her role on OLTL, or return to GH as an entirely different character. Fans are making their own theories about Starr’s status with GH based on last night’s tweet by Kristen. Alderson tweeted about change and how scary it can be. She mentioned that, “Tomorrow is HUGE.” Fans have put together an assumption that “change” means that Kristen Alderson may no longer be Starr Manning, and that what is “HUGE” could possibly be the first day she tapes as a new character on General Hospital. Kristen confirmed via Twitter that this news was not true. She stated that the tweet had nothing to do with her being at GH. She wasn’t there today. Check out the tweets below!

One year ago today marks the first blog post by General Hospital Blog! It has come a long way in one year due to continuous GH fan support and interest! Thank you all so much for frequenting this fan site blog. I am so pleased to be able to discuss my favorite daytime drama with all of you die hard General Hospital Fans! General Hospital Blog’s success would not be possible without the amazing show that General Hospital has proven to be and without it’s extraordinarily strong fan base.

Starr Manning Leaving General Hospital?
The news regarding the OLTL trio (Starr Manning, Todd Manning, and John McBain) has been up in the air since the actors left GH due to legal issues. Since the announcement of the revival of All My Children and One Life to Live, the fate of Starr, Todd, and John lies in the hands of those who own their character names. Prospect Park, the production company responsible for the online renewals of the two canceled ABC soaps stakes their claim in the characters names that had recently found a home in Port Charles.
The characters left Port Charles about a month ago and were said to be coming back. However, it remained unclear as to whether the actors would return to General Hospital under the same character names or if they would legally have to return under new identities. Today on General Hospital, Michael was on the phone with Starr telling her all about the Nurses Ball. Suddenly he was saddened and shocked as it was obvious that Starr was telling him that she wouldn’t be returning to Port Charles.
At this time, we are unaware of what lies ahead for Starr and her OLTL co-stars Todd and John McBain. Perhaps this phone call between Starr and Michael was just buying time until her return. It could also be a transition of eliminating the character all together, or prepping for the actress (Kristen Alderson) to be part of General Hospital under a different character’s name. General Hospital Blog hopes that something can be worked out so that these three actors can return to the canvas and reside in Port Charles once again. We miss them!
